Went in for a consultation and felt very seen and taken care off. Met with Elena and she was sweet, attentive, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. I feel like I walked away with a good plan for my skin and cannot wait to come back for more products and treatments. If you are on the fence about seeking skincare / dermatology advice/treatment, please give this office a call and try it out, I think it is worth all the time and money!

BEST dermatologist on the Big Island! Genuinely cares about her patients, and LOVES her job! Other dermatologists on the island (not gonna mention in names) look miserable, and obviously don’t care about their patients. Always felt like it was a “chore” for them to see me.

So grateful to have Marne and her staff here in Hilo. My first appointment was actually life changing for me. She really looked at my skin and she really listened to what I was complaining/crying about and suggested instead of working from the outside in with harsh prescriptions, we first start with the inside out, and take a look at my diet/lifestyle. LIFE CHANGING. No prescriptions were ordered and my skin cleared up within 4 months based on her recommendations and the changes I was able to make regarding my diet. I still deal with random breakouts but finally putting the puzzle pieces together for me has drastically changed my skin. Second appointment, we are moving forward with cosmetic stuff and again I feel grateful to have Marne here with the new technology. She fully explains which procedures are available and which ones suit your needs based on your concerns. Cannot wait to begin this journey and I could tell she was excited to do it too, which makes it even more awesome!

Marne really knows her stuff, and very informative With any questions I had. The only reason for 4 stars was the really long wait at my appointment I waited over an hour to be seen Maybe it was an off day or that was normal for this office but now I know what to expect for next appointment

Aloha from a very Happy patient. I have been to 4 Dermatologists in Hawaii with this office and personnel by FAR being the most welcoming, friendliest, knowledgeable, and compassionate taking the time to fully explain things to me. I never saw the Doctor but the NP and her assistant took plenty of time with me and actually listened to me. She was so kind and seemed to truly care about all of the agony I have had for the last 16 years with my nerve damage and itching. She made notes to my PCP and suggested a referral to a Neurologist and also called in a customized prescription to help ease my symptoms. A thorough skin cancer check was also performed. I left smiling and had everyone laughing at how giddy I was after such a positive experience. Several of my clients (I am a fitness trainer) come here and now I know why.
