I just called because a referral was sent from my pcp there. The front desk or whoever answered was so rude she said we don’t except that medical sorryyy and hung up. Totally unacceptable if I had time to catch her name I would put in on here. If you don’t like your job then quit. She’s bad for business

I’ve been to Complete Dermatology in Kapolei a few times now and my experience has always been pleasant and staff have been professional.

Drive an hour to get there. Arrive on time. Then they cancel my appointment because I didn’t arrive 30 minutes early. Congrats on being the worst rated dermatologist in the state of Hawaii.

This place is the absolute worst. From no one answering the phone, to no one returning calls/messages to Carcamo going on endlessly about his numerous fellowships…forget it. 0 stars if I could. PATHETIC

Visited 30 November 2021 First of all, the suite numbers in complex are not sequential. On one side of the building, it goes from 193 to 187. Complete Dermatology's office is located at the backside (West side) of the second/middle building (Kapolei Building). It's directly across from the gas station/7 eleven, on the opposite side of the road. If you take a look at the directory (inside the first floor common area), it shows you a list of all the suite numbers for that particular building; it'snot very helpful. It would be better if it were a diagram with the different office locations. When the receptionist called to confirm the appointment, she did try to direct me to the office but it's not helpful if you don't know the point of reference. Just give your self enough time prior to the scheduled appointment to find the office on your first visit. After that, it should be easy to navigate to. There is ample Street parking and a parking lot across the street for the park. There is also an underground parking lot, but I have never used that. I can definitely see street parking being limited because of the nearby school and other businesses. Checking in was easy, we just had a few new-patients forms to fill out. The office space is a bit small, well, at least the waiting area. It got a bit busy while we were waiting so there wasn't enough seats for all patients + parents/guardians. I assume they sacrificed extra seating to adhere to covid protocols since there were divides and physical space between each seat. All the staff I saw were wearing masks and all visitors/ patients are required to wear a mask. The receptionist also takes everyone's temperature. We didn't wait too before being called back. The nurse took us to the treatment room then asked some questions regarding the reason for our visit (my nephew has keloid scars). After she gathered the data, she disappeared then reappeared with Dr. Justin. He did an exam and explained the treatment option. He answered a few questions from my nephew. He was patient and calm when responding. I can tell he tried to explain in a way my non-medically-trained 12 year old nephew could understand, but he struggled to find a simple, layperson way to explain it. He talked about concrete and lost even me! Haha! Anyway, of course they have to verify that the insurance will cover the treatment before they can do anything. So now we wait for a follow-up call from Complete Dermatology. Overall, though, we had a good first-time experience.
