I called them asking to get prior authorization thought insurance before we do the procedure they informed they they are not willing to send it in for prior authorization… I then asked to be referred to a different provider due to them not willing to get prior authorization and they informed me they can not do that either. Absolutely no Zero from these people very disappointed.

My primary doctor sent me to them to have a lipoma removed off my back. I saw the PA there.(Amanda Turner). I had to pay a large copay and she was in the room for about a min. I was very disappointed. She measured it and said you will have to to a general surgeon. That was it!!! Didn’t talk to me about it or ask me one question. Did not explain anything to me or ask me if I had any questions. Just measured it and sent me on my way. I felt like I was taking up her time. She was very nonCompassionate and unfriendly. I felt like a number not a person. I walked away in tears not understanding anything. I am sure she will be billing my insurance $500 or more. Horrible experience. The receptionist and the nurses though were fantastic.

I always have a good experience at Dr. Owsley office. Him and his staff are very thorough in my care. They stay on top of things and call me if there's a question, and they return calls I make. I am very content going there and comfortable with the friendly atmosphere . He cares about his patients .

I have been a patient since this place opened 20 years ago. Recently I felt like my care was not to the level it should be. Last spring I had a spot on my nose that was bleeding. I was referred to Amanda for laser treatment because Dr. Owsley said it was a broken blood vessel. I did several laser treatments over the course of several months; had to pay all out of pocket because they claimed to have no way to bill for it. This was not cosmetic; I was bleeding! Anyway the bleeding came back several times and after the third time Amanda took a picture and went out to talk to Dr. Owsley then came back to tell me I needed a biopsy because it might be cancer. He never came to talk to me or even look at it. I also paid a $40 copay for that visit and they billed my insurance for $200. (Interesting how they wouldn't bill my insurance for the laser treatment ;I had to pay random amounts; $100, $150, but they did when I was only talked to for 5 minutes; there's something not right with this billing situation) I decided to try Ada West and I have been very happy with how thorough they have been. I have a spot on my chest that has been there for 6 years. They biopsied it and it has come back as early stage Melanoma. I hate to think about what my prognosis would be if I hadn't gone to a new dermatologist.

I was lucky to find Comprehensive Dermatologist. I was a new patient and they scheduled me in very quickly considering their already packed schedule. Dr. Ryan Owsley was extremely knowledgeable and took great care of my skin issues and set me on a path to future skin health. I’m already seeing results from my treatment after just one day! Highly recommended! Their entire office staff also provides outstanding customer service.
