Schweiger Dermatology Group - Glen Carbon

This is my second visit and I really like Kelsey Mason. I had a spot that looked different than the spots I already have and I got in quickly and sent it off to the lab. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family. Kelli Black

I had a very pleasant experience at Scweiger Dermatology. They were all nice and professional. It's a very welcoming environment. The process was very quick. I was taken to the room and was explained to very well about the procedure that would be done and they were able to do it same day. It was painless and very quick. I would continue to go here for any other future needs.

Really hate that I have to leave a review like this. Kelsey and the staff at the Glen Carbon location are so nice, but this experience has been awful. Waiting a month for biopsy results after you’ve been told 1-2 weeks, then attempting to call the office and getting blocked by the call center is unbelievably frustrating. When I finally was able to get someone in the office, I was promised a phone call the next day. Nothing. Tried to call again, only to be turned away by a rude, hateful woman in the call center. This has been a nightmare, and I hope they aren’t putting other patients through this as well. You may want to re-think going here for care, especially if you will need communication after your appointment. So very disappointing.

My recent visit to Schweiger was my second visit. From the moment I entered the door, I was placed in a very welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist was professional yet warm. She completed her questions professionally and quickly. From there I was moved to an examination room and asked the preliminary questions concerning my health and reason for my visit. After the interview it was game time. Kasey Mason proceeded to examine my upper body, recommended treatment, and compelted all phases of the proscess. I give her a 10. Very satisfied!

Communications with this office via text and via the web is abysmal. Different people, some of them obviously at an off shore contractor, repeatedly gave me differing and contradictory information about my previously scheduled return appointment. Furthermore the patient portal is a confusing and poorly designed mess. The docs may be ok, but I've given up on this business and am looking elsewhere. UPDATE: After posting the above review, I received a congratulatory letter from Schweiger claiming that my issue had been resolved. This is not true at all. There has been no substantive conversation between Schweiger and me. The word 'whitewash' comes to mind.
