We were very pleased with our experience at NorthShore Center Oral & Facial surgery. Dr. Smith was very patient with my son who was really nervous about his procedure. Dr. Smith worked extra hard to help my child feel safe and as relaxed as possible. The team of nurses were so supportive with his aftercare from the procedure. I truly appreciate all that they did! PS- Dr. Smith has some great jokes!

Dr Smith is amazing. Great pain control during and post procedures, very thorough and budget minded and explains things very clearly. Anastasia is wonderful too! She builds trust right away, focuses on you as her patient and provides incredible instructions for post op care! Can’t recommend them enough!

Quick turn appt for broken filling. Painless removal of wisdom tooth and closing of sinus cavity. Amazing team and incredibly professional that made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process! Healed incredibly well. Only giving four stars because clinic is no longer accepting my insurance as in-network, which will likely prohibit me from using this place for my additional wisdom teeth. Check with your insurance before coming here.

I’ve been going back and forth on if I should write this review. First, at the consultation Dr. Smith was great. When going over financials I asked the front about insurance and the response that I got from the person at check out was we don’t submit insurance. So, I asked for the codes that I would need to submit. She said we don’t know the medical codes. Then on the day of the surgery the assistant was unraveling the IV cord and it was all on the floor and acted like it was normal and no big deal. that a big no. Infection control issue. After my daughter was done getting her wisdom teeth out she was sitting in the recovery area and blood was dripping out of her mouth. I had to find the assistant so she can get her gauze changed out. When we left that day I again asked the front for a super bill or all the codes so I can submit to insurance. She said we don’t know those codes for medical. Then I called the office and few days before post op appointment because my daughter Thad an allergic reaction. The front desk said that they would put a note in and the doctor will see on her appointment date if she needs another antibiotic. Post op appointment doctor came in to the office late. We were in the waiting room for about 15 to 20 mins and we saw him walk in. Then the dental assistant saw us went over some additional instructions. The doctor never once came in to the post op check. So when we were walking out. We saw him duck into another room. The least thing Dr. Smith could have done was say hi. Especially since my daughter had an allergic reaction.( we went to the er once she had the allergic reaction). After spending a lot of money there it’s the least he can do. Oh and when I asked a different front desk person for the super bill to submit to insurance she was more than happy to give it to me. So clearly they have them there. I will never take any of my children there and I will never recommend anyone to go there. Please look for other locations before settling with this one.

A truly exceptional experience at NorthShore Center for Oral & Facial Surgery. Dr. Tatch was amazing from our original consultation through the first phase of my oral surgery. I felt at ease in his professional and caring hands. His staff is courteous, compassionate and friendly. Jillian and Anastasia took outstanding care of me. As I continue my treatment I know the outcome will be a very positive one. I highly recommend Dr. Tatch and his wonderful staff.
