Kovach Eye Institute

This practice is wonderful. The moment I walked in I knew I was in good hand's. The staff is friendly and kind. My first cataract surgery was a breeze. I can't tell how trustworthy and professional the whole team is. Keep up the good work. Thank you Dr Kovach.

We (myself and my wife) had a very bad experience. I took my first appointment and provided a referral from the physician. They rejected it, and we gave them another referral as per their specification. At the 2nd visit, they said they hadn't received. We brought another referral from the physician, and they said it didn't go through my insurance. They didn't scan it and read the referral. Staff is very horrible, and they don't have proper knowledge to run through the insurance company. Staff is not cooperative at all. They're taking many patients and not treating them well.

Ophthalmologist took lesss than 5 minutes to meets with me 2x. I was not happy.. I contacted Records Department multiple times to have my records sent to my old Ophthalmologist in Naperville. I got no call back to let me know it was being sent. I had to drive to my old Ophthalmologist office to have them contact Kovach Eye Institute to have my records sent to them. Then it turns out Kovach Eye Institute failed to send one of my tests. Finally, after canceling my appointment with Kovach Eye Institute one week ago, I get a message saying that I missed my appointment. So....I'm done with Kovach Eye Institute. I did contact Kovach Eye Institute the following day and spoke with Daisy...apparently they didn't note that I called on January 16 to cancel my appointment. Daisy was so pleasant to speak with and that she confirmed that it was their fault and that I will not be billed for the "no show". Daisy is someone to go to...she was helpful and wonderful. What is going on with this office?

I truly appreciate Dr. Anoop Nehra for his exceptional care and concern after my desperate voicemail I had left because of the pain I was having after surgery. He checked on me repeatedly making sure I was progressing in the right direction ensuring I was comfortable and in no pain. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern made a real difference in my experience.

Dr. Kovach and his team have been amazing! Every time my 4 year old has an appointment, they treat her with kindness… she loves going there! Professional people.
