Michael Patrick Ogilvie, MD

Dr. Ogilvie is a fantastic plastic surgeon. My scar is minimal, I, of course, can see it the most but others can not. Plus, he is a doctor who actually listens and records your comments. That was huge for me because sometimes it may appear your remarks are being dismissed by some doctors. So not only is he a great surgeon but also, a great doctor.

I had a double mastectomy in June 2017 and had a very bad experience with the previous reconstruction surgeon, who eventually resigned from the hospital. I had already lost one of my breast expanders during that bad experience. Then the hospital hired Dr. Michael Ogilvie. In August 2017, he came to my rescue when I had to lose the other breast expander. Since Dr. Ogilvie came on board with the hospital, I have been very impressed with his knowledge and he has been very informative in every step during my reconstruction process. Dr. Ogilvie and his staff have been professional, respectful and are down to earth people. They have always made me feel comfortable and positive. It has been a long road for me, to which they have been compassionate and very supportive with everything I have been through. I am very fortunate to have an awesome doctor, Dr. Ogilvie, in my life and receiving the best reconstructive care.

Dr. Michael Ogilvie has been my surgeon for two years. I have been through countless surgeries for over 25 years and treated by several doctors. Dr. Ogilvie is my favorite for several reasons including his confidence, patience, honesty, perfectionism, and intelligence. Dr. Ogilvie genuinely cares about his patients and their results and this is apparent from the initial consultation. Dr. Ogilvie took the time to listen to my cosmetic goals and explain the procedures he would recommend, both surgical and nonsurgical. I knew after speaking with him that I was in great hands. Dr. Ogilvie was informative and helpful in his recommendations. He listened to what I was looking for and was able to deliver results that exceeded my expectations! Dr. Ogilvie and his staff are nothing short of perfection. Dr. Ogilvie delivers exceptional results that are natural and beautiful. I would highly recommend!

I was diagnosed with cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy in January 2020. Dr. Ogilvie was recommended by my breast surgeon. We met prior to my surgery, he explained everything. As you can imagine it was all very overwhelming. I was given options and went with expanders, followed by reconstruction in July. Every step was explained to me, I was told to think about my options for reconstruction and didn't feel pressured. This was a whole new world with medical terms and procedures I was unfamiliar with. The office staff was always kind, I was greeted when I arrived, my appointments were always on-time and, even in a pandemic, I felt very safe going to Dr. Ogilvie's office. I would recommend Dr. Ogilvie, he genuinely cares for us patients.
