Yazan Alghalith, MD

My experience with Dr. Yazan Alagalith was deeply disturbing. His behavior during my appointment was highly inappropriate and unprofessional, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. His conduct crossed boundaries, and it’s clear he lacks the professionalism expected from a medical practitioner. Frankly, he came across as a complete pervert, which is unacceptable for someone in his position of trust. I strongly recommend avoiding him and seeking care from someone who respects their patients and their profession. This was a shocking and appalling experience.

When I walked in first my appointment, I was told to take a seat and they'd be with me shortly. I asked if I needed to fill out new patient paperwork. *I* had to ask *them*. They gave me the paperwork, I filled it out, and I was taken to an examination room in a timely manner. When the doctor came in, I told him about two spots on my face I was concerned about: One on my forehead, one above my lip. During the discussion and examination he indicated that the one above my lip seem to be of more concern. I was surprised since it was smaller than the one on my forehead, but I figured he has the medical expertise, I don't. He recommended freezing and I agreed. He froze the one on my forehead. When he started freezing the one "above my lip", I realized he was freezing something *on* my lip. I didn't want to say anything while he was doing the actual freezing for fear talking would move my lips too much and I'd end up with extra freezing. When he stopped, I pointed out that I had a spot above my lip, not on my lip. He had frozen off a mole that I've had for decades with no problems. He then froze off the spot above my lip. I made a follow up appointment and left. A few weeks later I received mail from that office indicating that I had missed an appointment and owed a $50 no-show fee. They were correct I had missed the appointment, but the letter annoyed me quite a bit because it said, "our office has attempted to reach you regarding this matter." I received no texts, no emails, no mail, nor phone calls of any sort. Were they contacting me via smoke signals and I wasn't looking outside at the right time? I've taken half a star off this review for the doctor freezing off the wrong thing. I would normally give a full star off for that, but I should have questioned him when he was making a bigger deal out of the spot "above" my lip. I have taken half a star off for the office staff. I had to prompt them about the new patient paperwork, and I did not receive any communication about my follow up appointment until I received the missed appointment mail. Again, I would have given a full star off but I should have put the appointment in my calendar immediately. Editing to add: I see that you would like me to contact you with more details. Dr. A is super nice and attentive. He takes the time to listen to any concerns/issues I have. Highly recommend him!

Dr A really understands cosmetic procedures and how to tailor them to each person's specific wants and needs. Never had laser that was this easy and efficient! He's very personable and never made things feel rushed. So knowledgeable and well-spoken. Definitely going to send all of my friends to his clinic!

Dr Alghalith is a true professional. Every part of my experience was top notch. He really took the time to tailor my treatment to my needs. His knowledge of cosmetics AND general dermatology is outstanding My laser treatment worked better than I ever could have imagined. Truly rare to find people who care as much as him, can't recommend him enough!
