SIU Medicine Institute for Plastic Surgery

I have had multiple surgeries at this clinic with Dr. Berry. I find her work and staff to be pleasant and professional. Had an issue with my body rejecting an implant, due to immunity issues but she was right on it. I find her character and professionalism admirable. She doesn't "Gaslight" her patients.

Dr. Berry did a wonderful job on my top surgery. She respected my wishes to not have nipples without any push-back. I'm very pleased with the results. Bonus that I was able to get in several months sooner than any of the large gender surgery clinics in Chicago. Her nurse is also amazing and so happy to help or answer questions.

Absolutely 0 regard for manners or pain. Worst "medical assistance" I've ever received. I'd rather bleed out than ever come back.

Everyone said that Dr. Berry was the best, but since I had surgery to fix my trapped nerves I have lost even more control of my left hand and lost feeling in nearly all of my forearm. Dr. Berrry's services are no longer required. Also, Had an appointment a follow up on Monday, They canceled when I was about half way there on icy roads. Sincerely I hope I die before I ever have to deal with these "People" again.

I tried to schedule an appointment over the phone. However, the woman scheduling me told me that gender affirming surgery is cosmetic. Stay away if you are trans, as this department doesn't believe trans people have a right to exist.
