Integrative Dermatology & Laser Spa

Relatively nice staff. Decent experience. Was painful, but I understand that my surgery was in a difficult area to totally numb the discomfort. I couldn’t proceed with my oral antibiotic due to bad side effects. But the topical medication ointment seems to be helping the healing process. I had a few other moles removed and they were painless and have healed quite nicely! Definitely recommend this dermatologist office.

I was excited to have the opportunity to receive input and treatment from such a highly rated dermatologist. What a disappointment to find that the appointments for things like cancer screenings are left to the nurses. That seems far too serious to leave to someone other than an MD. They won't even let you consult with Dr. V. It seems this place is definitely more med spa than Dr's office. It isn't the place if you are addressing actual health concerns.

FULL VISIT SUMMARY: Sceduled appointment to see "A Dermatologist": I was asked to arrive at 8:45am. Doors were still locked for my 9am appointment. They opened them at 8:48. Not too terrible. But don't ask people to arrive on time and not be opened on time for them. Soon as I arrived I was handed a ton of paperwork to fill out and asked to pay immediately for copay before I even finished the paperwork. So I paid. Was told my reciept was texted to me. (I have NO RECIEPT even 2 days later) Still finishing out paperwork when asked into room. Was asked the same questions in room that I was filling out paperwork for. Kindda felt like a complete waste. But I still filled it out. Then the "Nurse" proceeded to touch my skin WITHOUT GLOVES ON. Around infected blemish. Took a couple photos. Then said "to make another appointment" to see the dermatologist. WHY Schedule someone and make them pay a copay to see a Dr. They DID NOT see? If I would've known I was scheduling an appointment when the Doctor was not in. I would've Rescheduled. So I politely asked. They looked at me like I was too much of an inconvienence. They made a call. I patiently waited. Used the restroom only to over hear STAFF TALKING RUDELY about a client. I was informed "for billing reasons they could not waive copay and would be charged another copay for next visit as well" Accepted that answer, thanked them for their time. And left. This Business is Not very Professional in my honest, humbled Opinion. Would not recommend. Very bad first impression..

Doctor V is a genius and an honest doctor. Her work is excellent. She takes the time to answer all your questions and put your mind at ease. Above all, her prices are fair and she offers monthly discounts to keep a person coming back. I got tired of other places giving excuses as to why they could not do a certain procedure on the face and body to enhance it. Simply put they are not trained on the newest beauty procedures like Dr. V and her staff.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this office. I saw Dr. Veerula a couple years ago at the height of my body dysmorphia, when I was in my early 20s. Instead of addressing my concerns with care and compassion, she immediately offered Botox and filler—at 24 years old. I ended up paying a considerable amount for filler (that I never used/ received a service for), only to later realize through treatment for body dysmorphia that it was a rash decision made during a vulnerable time. When I called back to ask for a partial refund for the filler I never intended to use, the receptionist said they would get back to me, but no one ever did. Their lack of follow-up and disregard for my situation felt irresponsible and entirely non-compassionate. I felt taken advantage of at a vulnerable time in my life. I would never recommend them to anyone looking for ethical or empathetic care.
