One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a doctors appointment. I was told they were running on time when I checked in. I was finally called in an hour after my appointment time. The girl rooming me said that it was because I arrived early.??? What? Yes, I arrived early. I did not expect to be seen early nor was I expecting to be seen an hour after my appointment time. When the nurse finally did my exam it was less than two minutes total time. She seemed very rushed. Very disappointing! I waited four months for this appointment. I will not go back.

I visited this place 2 years ago. I wanted to be checked for skin cancer. I was told that I was clean, even the pink bump on my face. My pcp didn't like the look of it and referred me to the same doctor I called to see here, apparently he was no longer there. They made my appointment and did not tell me I wasn't seeing the doctor I requested. The spot is a Basal cell carcinoma that I am now getting removed nearly 2 years later... My mother died right after my first appointment and I came home to the rudest, nastiest letter I have seen for a bill just barely past due. That letter caused me to cancel my second appointment as I was very unhappy with the doctor and his assistant's overly giggly bedside manner... Plus the doctor had his assistant freeze a mole off of me that already grew back and was removed properly by my new dermatologist!

I have been going to Three Rivers Dermatology for almost six years now. I was very pleased with the care that I received for the first few years. They were incredibly kind and did not make me feel like another number. However, the past few visits really changed my perspective. Each time that I go now, I can expect to wait at least an hour, sometimes even two. It is incredibly frustrating to be paying for a service and have my time be disrespected like that. Even if I were to try and reschedule, I may have to wait months before my next visit. My biggest frustration though has been the change in care that I receive. My dermatologist was changed to a new PA which I was not made aware of until I sat down in the exam room. After the change, I was constantly badgered to change my medication - despite my current prescription working just fine. I don't even get treated anymore when I go. My visits now consist of walking in, waiting an hour, being told I should change medication to something that requires bloodwork, and then I receive a "sample". When I ask about side effects, they cannot even properly describe them to me and just say that it's "nothing to worry about" and try to change the subject. I don't even receive a physical examination anymore like I used to. It feels as though they are trying to get me to change my medication to make more money and get me out as quickly as possible. I really am disappointed about how far Three Rivers has fallen in the past two years. I hope that they can turn things around, but until then they have lost me as a patient. If you are considering visiting, please be sure to explore other options as well.

I set up an appointment 5 months ago to come back in to get checked. I received several emails to verify my appointment and responded right away that I would be there. Today the day of my appointment, I receive several emails reminding me about my appointment. I take time away from my job and take PTO, get there to be told there is a 1 1/2 hour wait. The new lady blames it on staffing issues. So is it a staffing issue where staff don’t want to work there or is it a doctor issue? The new lady then says we can reschedule in December or January. Are you kidding me!!! This is not a plan I want to reschedule at. I don’t think you deserve a 1 star.

I scheduled over six months ago to see Dr. Sass and as I arrived for my appointment, they said it will be over an hour wait at least. Just as they had just sent multiple confirmation reminders about my appointment. Very disappointing as I drove over a half an hour each way and took time off of work for them to not even have enough staff to call and say he’s going to be behind and now he will not even be able to get you in until April. Poorly ran and shockingly disappointing to not consider peoples money and time on their end. Let alone the skin issues, they are dealing with and totally screwed. I’m super let down.
