Terrible experience - Dr. Ko was rude and ineffectual. I went to Dr. Ko with blocked tear ducts on July 1, 2024 - It took 2 weeks to get in. After using eye drops that she prescribed for 3 weeks and waiting another week to get an appointment, she said nothing had changed. I asked what the next step was. She said I should go to Iowa City and walked out. I was so angry. We were going to leave in a few days for vacation. I made an appointment with Dr. Blodi at Des Moines Eye Surgeons and got in quickly. He prescribed steroid eye drops that unblocked the tear ducts within 24 hours. It felt like a miracle after nearly 2 months of misery with tears constantly streaming down my face and red, puffy, swollen, sore eyes - it was wonderful to no longer look like a deranged racoon with red rings around my eyes. We left for Iceland on Aug. 12 with me feeling and looking normal. I've since heard other people say they had bad experiences with Dr. Ko. She has a bad reputation among health care professionals and former patients. One person even said that Wolfe Eye Clinic has gone downhill in general. I'm going to Des Moines Eye Surgeons from now on for annual checkups and everything. Dr. Blodi was professional and caring, the opposite of Dr. Ko. I didn't want to give any stars but I had to give one in order to get it to post. Note: this posted on my husband's google account.

I think Dr Audrey Ko is awesome. She did a fantastic job with my eyelid lift. She took great cayof me and all of my appointments, I got right in and she took time to discuss and answer questions. I highly recommend Dr Audrey Ko!!!!

I highly recommend Dr Ko. She is very personable and professional. She helped me get in for my surgery quickly so that I could get it on the current year’s insurance. Her work is very clean and looks beautiful, and I anticipate minimal scarring. If any.

Doctor Ko is excellent and very friendly. She makes you feel relaxed and not so scared of surgery. Highly recommend her. She did great and her staff is friendly as well.
