The desk staff were welcoming and very helpful. When my 94 year old father was called into the office the nurse was very respectful of him. Then we met Colleen Young, PA. She very kindly explained her findings to him and to me, and verified we understood. She was thorough in her care, and made sure throughout the procedure he felt comfortable. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Heartland Dermatology.

I highly recommend Casey Jankord. She is very conscience and professional. She makes you feel completely at ease during your examination. I feel her exams are very thorough.

This was my first and last visit to Heartland Dermatology. I scheduled a routine checkup where a mole was removed and sent to a lab for testing to ensure it was benign. I expected this to be covered as preventative care but the clinic failed to bill my insurance correctly. As a result I received two separate and unexpectedly high bills for the same visit. When I reached out for clarification I was met with little assistance in resolving the issue. Patients deserve full transparency regarding potential costs especially when undergoing what should be standard preventative procedures. If this was not considered preventative care then what was it, cosmetic? On my arm? No, I think not.🙄 This experience has made it clear that access to dermatological care even for potentially serious concerns comes at a steep cost. It is frustrating to see the emphasis placed on skin health and cancer prevention while financial barriers make it difficult for many to seek necessary care. I strongly encourage anyone considering this office to ask detailed questions about billing in advance to avoid unexpected expenses.

Very frustrated with the lack of assistance from heartland dermatology. Patient care was ok any appointment I've had I was on time but waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time. Asked to receive a referral for another office as I moved 1 state over and they could not point me in any direction, not a list of offices I could try. They said sorry that's in another state I can't help you let us know where we need to send your patient info in the future. I felt dropped as a patient just for asking for a referral to ANY other office..

The entire team, from the first smile as I walk in the door, to RN triage, Doctor visit, and exit can only be described as excellence in care. This has also been each experience for over 3 years now when I chose them as my team after my family physician recommended Ashton Youngers at Heartland. The commitment to great patient care and patient experience is exceptional. I know I can trust all on the team as I move through my own better health journey.
