Kentucky Skin Cancer Center

I got a referral here from my Primary Care for a mole on my back that had changed. I seen Kelsey Wright and she did a biopsy. When I got the call back from her with results, it was Stage 31A Melanoma. I was referred to the Brown Cancer Center to see Dr McMasters for surgical removal of the large skin flap and the lymph nodes that had also showed in my left groin area. This all took place in a month for turn around. I am very pleased with everyone there from the time i arrived to the time I leave. Always compassionate with all questions and procedures. I can say after 17 rounds of follow up Keytruda my scans are all still clear and it began with Ky Skin Cancer Center in BG.

I called for a new patient appointment and received one for the next week. In contrast, another dermatologist in town, called on the same day, gave me an appointment in 6 weeks. The person on the phone was very friendly, and used my name frequently throughout the interview. On arrival, the office is bright and clean, and the staff, all of them, are extremely nice and courteous. After filling out some forms, there was no long wait before going back to the room, and no uncomfortable long wait for the doctor. Dr. Minielly was kind and polite, had reviewed my old chart, and conducted a quick exam and treated several lesions that required it. I was given a return appointment and there were no billing hassles. In sum, a pleasant and efficient experience from scheduling to follow up.

I would give 10 stars if I could because Dr. Skaggs is amazing!!!! He and his staff are extremely professional, yet very friendly. This doctor brings patient care to a whole new level. I have never had a doctor who is so caring and accommodating. From scheduling of the appointments to after care everything was streamlined perfection. They are definitely an asset to Bowling Green. Thank you Dr. Skaggs

This was our first time visiting the Ky. Skin Care Center, and was very impressed with the caring staff. Every step was explained and the cheerful staff was so helpful. Dr. Minielly was so likeable and reassuring about the procedure my husband was having done. Thanks to all the staff.
