The dermatologist was great and so was most of the staff, my issue came with someone who’s only job is tell me what room I’m in, she was extremely rude, inconsiderate to what issues I had going on. Truly digusted that someone like that is asking about people personal issues. To whom that was, find god and be a better person maybe.
This was an extremely frustrating experience. I called to schedule a new patient appointment because I have a nevus on my chin that is inflamed and causing me pain. I called and talked to their receptionist who told me that had an appointment available on Monday, January 6th. They then told me that since I was a new patient I would have to call back AFTER I filled out new patient paperwork to finish scheduling. I did that immediately. It took me 27 minutes. When I call back, suddenly they can't fit me in until January 30th...because apparently my appointment was given away. Then I get the "it's our policy" line. I am so sick of hearing this from people. If your policy is deliberately inconveniencing customers then it needs to be changed and not hidden behind.
I brought my little girl to the appt with me. I was nervous so I had my husband come with me too. This place took away ALL the nerves. I absolutely loved it here. They helped with my little girl the whole time she wanted to cling to me. They were so sweet, listened to any concern I had. I’m so glad I did my research and made an appt with them. You won’t be disappointed!
There is one women who answers the phones who is so incredibly rude (everyone else is kind). Hard to get an appointment, and different providers give different advice. Not consistent. It’s just not a personal experience but the office is very nice and clean, and some of the providers are fantastic.
I was a long time patient, but for the past 3-years, I have had difficulty in scheduling appointments and there has been a high level of turnover in their "qualified" staff. The final straw came when I attempted to schedule an annual skin cancer eval and was told that my account was on hold due to an outstanding $28 bill and I could not be seen until it was corrected. No notice was given and when I did reschedule, the appointment was 4 months out. Also, when you go to your appointment for say a spot/lesion on your right arm, don't ask them to look at a similar spot on your left arm. They will want you to reschedule a separate appointment for that. It's all about the money; not patient care.
