Modern Dermatology of KY and Cosmetic Specialists - Paris

The medical care is great! Office staff flat out rude. Threatened out of the blue to not see us if we didn’t have our insurance card when we are regularly seen and have a copy scanned in.

Was turned away today for care. I was coming in as a SELF PAY patient after being told my insurance was no longer in network. After driving out of town for the appointment and taking off from work, I sat in the office for 20 minutes before being called up to the front and being told it was illegal for them to see me as a self pay patient with medicaid insurance. I then left the office to call my insurance company to clarify this and was told this was not the case and they should have allowed me my appointment if they were no longer in network with my insurance. They really need to take patients care more seriously. I now have to look for another dermatologist and take off from work again all while still suffering from a recurring UNKNOWN condition.

Started a new job was settling in had a couple of shift changes which made me miss a couple of appointments. Was told I could not come back till next year. Why would any Dr. Deprive a human being of their treatment due to a missed appt. Which was never told to us even if there is a policy. But now this silly policy that I was never told of. Will cause my skin disorder to relapse. Crazy how a company can be in charge of your health and tell you NO. So much for feeling good in my skin back to people staring and being judgemental

I had a ok experience with the APRN. He was great! The problem that I have with this clinic is that I can’t even get my medication because I need a PA! I have not had my medication for 3 Days! I have called the nurse line multiple times, left messages after messages! I think it is so unprofessional and crazy for clinics to not get back with you the same day if it concerns medication! This problem needs to be fixed ASAP! Update: I was called by the APRN Tim the next day and was told they have up to 48hrs to fix the problem…. Then to be told that it’s not like I have CANCER… that I’m only dealing with acne?!? Wow so I have to have cancer to get the problem for my medications fixed! If you ever had cystic acne before then you know that you feel like clawing your face off! The worst experience in healthcare!
