Acadiana Health and Aesthetics: Lauren F. Luke, MD

I switched to Acadiana Health and Aesthetics about 6 months ago. After being with the same family physician for years there's always uncertainty when switching. My faith in the medical field has diminished significantly after a few years of medical issues from a work accident. But, Lauren Luke's office has restored some of that faith. They listen, and don't look at everyone the same. My check up with lab work was super thorough. Leading to them finding issues that my other doctors didn't even want to test for even though I had been asking to do so. I definitely recommend them!

They are rude and unconcerned . They also expect you to pay to talk about your blood work results and mess up appointments. Good luck getting an appt , because you’ll be waiting a month or more . Would not recommend this place at all. Off to find a new office who actually cares about their patients .

Not worth the wait! When I called for my initial appointment, I was placed on a waiting list for about a month. The day of my appointment, I sign in for my visit and was told by the receptionist that she attempted to contact me to cancel/reschedule my appointment because the doctor was out (sick, I’m guessing). I looked at my phone and did see a missed call about two (2) hours before my appointment. I then asked about rescheduling and was told that I would have to wait another 1.5 months to see even the NP. I told the receptionist that I waited a month for my initial appointment and asked if they could possibly fit me in sooner as the cancellation was not due to an error on my end. She then smuggly shrugged her shoulders and said “no”. At that point, I knew that this was NOT an office for me. I mean, I completely understand that emergencies happen and that people get sick, but don’t understand why they are not willing to adjust their schedule to accommodate potential patients that THEY cancel and top it with a smug attitude. Needless to say, I am happy to seek assistance for my elective healthcare treatments at a more courteous and professional office.

This place used to be the best in town. It’s clear they are money hungry and its seeping into their patient care. While all my other doctors in town have someone call or put into my chart labs and other insignificant things like such they refuse to do that you must go in for a follow up. I would understand for medicine refills and such but not for an all clear on routine labs. I don’t know about you but 100$ just to hear everything looks good seems extreme. Also don’t let anything come up and not be able to make your appointment either they will charge you 50$ to reschedule even if your childcare needs fall thru. Genuinely sad that this place went down hill I used to recommend them to everyone, our entire family was seen here for years. The time has come to find other care, an office that actually cares about your health and not your pocket book.

First, Dr. Luke's office is one of the most beautiful doctor's offices I've ever been in. And Dr. Luke designed it herself. Soft, spa like feel soon as you walk in the door. All of her staff are kind and make it their mission to make you comfortable. Dr. Luke herself is a warm and friend person right off the bat. She's easy to talk too. She is my primary care physician, my hormone replacement doctor (BioTe), and she has made me look 10 years younger. She's a perfectionist when it comes to your face........... I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lauren Fletcher Luke. I'd give her 10 stars if I could.
