I cannot say enough wonderful comments about Dr. Claiborne, his staff, and Northshore Plastic Surgery in general. I had a mommy makeover just under 4 weeks ago and have not had one day that I have not been 100% thrilled with my decision. They all made the experience seamless- from the consultation to the follow ups. The staff and Dr. Claiborne are easy to reach and communicate with for any questions along the way. I have had zero pain and awesome results and I am not even at the 1 full month mark yet. Hands down will only go to Dr. Claiborne for any future needs and will only refer him. Thanks Dr. Claiborne and team!!!!

After suffering with encapsulated implants for years, I finally decided to take the plunge and have them removed. I figured "while I'm there, might as well make it a (grand)mommy make-over. I love my new body!!! I now feel so much more comfortable in my own skin than I have in the past 15+ years. Ladies, it's never too late, you are never too old. DO IT FOR YOU! Dr Claiborne and the entire staff are very professional. I could not have been more happy with the results after just 4 weeks! Their attention to ease my concerns was phenomenal. The pain associated with my procedure was minimal, and the office and the surgery facility is first rate. Hats off to NP Catherine and Dr. Clairborne for making a scary experience, easy and positive.

I wanted to take the time to write this review because I couldn’t be more thankful with the results of my explant surgery, with Dr Claiborne! My surgery was on Dec 10, and he took the time prior to listen to all of my questions and requests. The results of my explant exceeded my expectations! Dr Claiborne safely and successfully removed my implants and each capsule in its entirety. He also repaired the pectoral muscles, which I had requested if it were necessary. I had requested pictures of the implants and capsules and for the capsules to be sent to pathology, and he took care of all of this as well! I was prepared for the worst with the results of my breasts as far as their appearance considering how long I have had my implants, but am so grateful for how they have turned out, and it’s only been one week post op! They have healed so beautifully and in are in much better shape than I had expected! I am so pleased! He also went along the same lines as my previous incision for the implants, and no further incisions were needed or made! My health has also GREATLY improved as I was personally suffering from BII and capsular contracture in the right breast! 19 years of health issues since first receiving implants have been miraculously showing so much improvement and in such little time! Thank you Dr Claiborne for your genuine care of my needs and for your gift of perfection with the skill of your work and hands!

Dr. Jeffrey R. Claiborne is simply the best. MY TESTIMONY: In February of this year, I went to the emergency room for severe pain in my right side. It turned out to be several complications but the most complicated of them was extreme constipation due to an umbilical hernia with Diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation of 5 inches) from my 5 pregnancies. I went to several general surgeons to get my situation resolved, but their response was that they could repair my hernia but not repair the abdominal muscles. After seeing that they would not do anything for me, I decided to look for plastic surgeons knowing that my private insurance would not cover my surgery. I called between 5-6 plastic surgeons between the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas and the response they gave me was that I had to go to the general surgeon first and have my hernia repaired and then go to them to repair (close) the abdominal muscles because they do not repair hernias. At this point I didn't know what to do; my constipation was unbearable. I didn't want to go to the operating room twice when I knew there could be a good doctor who could do both at the same time! I prayed asking God to guide me to the doctor I needed, and searching on Google, I found Northshore Plastic Surgery, where the best surgeon Dr. Jeffrey R. Claiborne is. I called and asked if the doctors there did hernia repair. The girl at the front desk very kindly told me she would ask and call me back. When she called me to tell me that they could repair my hernia there, I was super happy that I had finally found a doctor who could do everything in one (repair the hernia, repair the muscles, [tummy tuck], and liposuction). One of the things I loved about Dr. Claiborne is his professionalism. His passion for what he does is evident even in the way he speaks, he gave me confidence. I couldn't be in better hands. The anesthesiologist is a very sweet lady with more than 30 years of experience, she’s a sweetheart. The nurses are the best, very kind and professional in everything they do. On the day of my pre-op, I brought a list of questions and when the nurse finished explaining everything to me, I didn't have to use my list of questions because she had already covered all the topics related to the questions I had. Yesterday, Monday, September 9, 2024, was my appointment for the third month after surgery. I feel super healthy, and I no longer have constipation and I look good. I really loved the work of Dr. Claiborne. He is a doctor who knows very well what he does. I had never had any type of surgery before but with him I felt confident. I know that there are many women with the same condition that I had, because Diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation) is something very common among us mothers, causing endless health complications, where we are deprived of living a full life with our children and husbands. Do not be afraid and give yourself the opportunity to regain your health. Dr. Claiborne is simply THE BEST.
