Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery at Mercy

I’m a black woman who felt quite embarrassed when the surgeon said to me, oh, I can see why you want surgery. I have a complex about my body and also have folding skin over my stomach which causes me to have rashes and other issues. I do appreciate the doctor telling me that I will be more satisfied with my surgery if I lose weight. Treat all your patient with kindness and respect. I love Mercy but I shouldn’t to deal with a MD that cocky and aggressive.

The staff at Mercy..... so caring and so kind. They took great care of me and made me feel so comfortable. I could not have asked for a better team of care givers!

Dr.Chang had to remove a mole of mine today because it may contain some melanoma and he was so kind and patient and gentle. I had cancer in 2018 so any kind of ‘scare’ sends me spinning and Dr.Chang was amazing. He made me feel so safe and comfortable and calmed my anxiety. And all of the ladies that work in that office are incredibly helpful, supportive and so kind. 5 stars all around! Marley/Marielle

I had surgery in 2019 (I should have done this review sooner). I had an augmentation for preventative and restorative care. The entire team that I met and interacted with was amazing. Everyone was so kind and invested in me feeling better. From the consultation, the insurance shananagins, my questions / concerns, the actual surgery and post-op, it was all so supported by the P&RS team at Mercy. Dr. Bernie Chang and the rest of the team changed my life and were angels about it the entire time. Highly recommend.

Every time I am visiting Dr. Chang and the team I feel very well take care off and care is important to me. Plastic surgery has never been a thing I would do but being that I have the Breast Cancer journey and this a part of the journey it is good to have professionals who care ! ♥️
