Tideway Dermatology - Bel Air

Jen Abbott is the most trustworthy, considerate doctor I have ever seen. She makes you feel at ease and she never makes you feel rushed. She listens to my concerns and she's respectful and kind. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait very long at all and the office is clean and well run. I feel like a bundle of nerves at most doctors offices, but here I feel relaxed and calm. It's a testament to the environment they have created at Tideway. I'm really grateful for them!

I highly recommend Tidewater Dermatology….very friendly staff and didn’t have to wait forever to be seen. My exam was thorough and I received great explanations/answers to the questions I asked. I left feeling good about my future visits and felt I was in good hands with Jennifer.

My mom saw Jen Abbott, the PA and she was wonderful! The staff was very helpful and there was hardly a wait. Jen looked at mom's concerns and was not only thorough, but very kind. She answered all of our questions and was very reassuring. My mom recently had a stroke and is in a wheelchair. She has been going to a lot of doctor's visits which has been traumatic and scary for someone who was, until recently, very healthy. Jen and her team made the experience really comfortable and my mom felt cared for. I think this is the first doctor's visit she has left in a long time feeling good. I am very thankful to Jenn and the team at Tideway in Bel Air!!

I personally had an awful experience here and after wasting money on 2 appointments that were over $150 each and getting no help or results with the issues I've been having with my skin, I'm very upset. And the last lady I had seen said she didn't have a magic wand and couldn't make it better right away. Well you didn't help at all. I received a hydrocortisone cream prescription from my first visit that I was told not to use for more than a week on my face and it literally helped with nothing with the week that I did use it. I wouldn't reccomend here to my friends or family, which is sad because I saw good reviews online and was excited to go somewhere to help diagnose the irritation I've been having with my skin and eyebrows. Now I regret wasting my time and money.

I was referred to this practice by the dermatologists that i've used for the last several years. Unfortunately, they don't take my insurance any longer.And they recommended that I call Tideway as they do take my insurance. I called the number and eventually got a call back from an appointment setter. I explained that I had an acute issue that I felt was getting worse.And I really needed to be seen by a dermatologist as soon as possible. I explained due to my disability that I needed to be seen in an area that is close to where I live. He informed me that the next available appointment for me to be seen would be over two months from now. I explained that I could not definitely not wait two more months to be seen for an acute issue that I thought was getting worse. I asked him if he had any recommendations for any other offices that may be available to me. The only advice that he offered was for me to go to the hospital. I feel like in situations like this.We should be able to speak to someone at the office and not an appointment setter. The whole reason I reached out to a dermatology office was because I was advise that this would be the best place to get this looked at but I needed to get it looked at as soon as possible.
