Doctor Lisa R Ginn

One of the absolute BEST dermatologists in the country. Warm, attentive, knowledgeable, personable and her staff is equally patient centric. A lovely experience that is consistent and the office is simply beautiful. There is no long lag time or wait times and there is consistent followup and care. Dr. Ginn and her staff focus on the patient, their needs and are very comprehensive in their care with the strictest of hygienic controls and efforts that were stringent during the pandemic and in tune with CDC recommendations but even now a definite push to assure patient safety and best interest. She is a physician that cares about the entire patient and skilled at understanding the nuances of medical factors that can impact your skin. Very cutting edge and up to date on the science around dermatology. I don't ever feel like I'm being "sold" on a product or service; to the contrary---often the answer is "No" that wouldn't benefit you even if it is a paid treatment. I have the utmost respect for SkinLRG and have been a patient for several years. Simply outstanding and refreshing to have a professional office that puts patients first, no disregard for our time or choice in deciding on who will take care of our health---skin health. Fabulous! Simply FABULOUS and yes I am worth every cent---my own health and wellness is worth every penny!

Simply put, Dr. Ginn is a skin magician. I have been seeing her for over fifteen years (my late 20s, all of my 30s, and early 40s) due to bad adult acne and rosacea. Dr. Ginn and everyone else who works with her have always been kind, patient, and thoughtful. I also appreciate how Dr. Ginn grows the careers of those who work with her. This doctor's office is the only one where I feel like everyone remembers who I am (whether I call or come in), which is a testament to Dr. Ginn's leadership and vision for her office. Dr. Ginn listens to her patients well. I was adamant that I didn't want to take oral medication. Later, when I wanted to be off all antibiotics, including topical ones, she found a way to make that work. I am so grateful that I found Dr. Ginn. I have never been one to wear makeup​ and I get many compliments on my complexion. Three important notes: 1) The products are pricey. Two people I know initially recommended Dr. Ginn to me and their skin was radiant. They told me that Dr. Ginn's methods were more expensive than traditional dermatologists. Still, on my initial visit, I had sticker shock. Dr. Ginn recommended a lot of products to me, which she sells. I told her I would think about it and come back to purchase. I looked online and found that the products were similarly priced so I went back to Dr. Ginn and purchased; I haven't questioned her since. The products are expensive but they last a long time. I think about it like I'm investing in my skin's future, especially now that she's moved​ me onto a lot of anti-aging concoctions. 2) If you are coming to Dr. Ginn for skin care, as I do, and have trouble following regimens or want to use all of your own products, then Dr. Ginn probably isn't for you. My full regimen takes about five minutes each morning and night, and it involves 7-10 different products. 3) I have always had to wait about 10 minutes for my appointment even when I arrive a few minutes early. If you are prepared to wait and do not have to be somewhere right after your appointment then you will do well with Dr. Ginn. The upside to the waiting is that I have never felt rushed before, during, or after my appointments. The vibe of the office is very relaxing and serene.

Dr. Ginn is amazing! I went for both cosmetic and medical dermatology visits and both were great. She recommended a thorough skincare regimen for both AM and PM using a mixture of my current products and purchasing some of hers. I do feel like I’m seeing great results after ~2 months. Laser hair removal is done in full body parts vs small sections of that makes sense. For example if you wanted your chin done it wouldn’t just be chin but your whole face. Of course you could tell her not to do a certain area, but you’ll pay for the full face so keep that in mind. Having PCOS, I will take the full face! Only thing is you have to budget for these sessions accordingly. It was tough finding a black dermatologist but I found her! She’s thorough, diligent, respects COVID protocols, and has a beautiful office 🙂

There are doctors who care more about their wallets than your well-being. Also the products that Dr. Ginn is using are extremely expensive and inefficient.
