A 1 star review isn’t low enough. Be careful if you want to be seen here. If you make an appointment here, prepare to wait a good 30-40 minutes to get called back to your appointment. Then, wait an additional 15 minutes to see the doctor, who is only in the room about 5 minutes, and doesn’t listen to your concerns about your own body - I was argued with when I brought up things what I was concerned about - And then when you go to check out, you’ll wait another 20 minutes for them to call your name. You need to block out your whole entire day if you make an appointment here.

If I can place a -0 on this place I would. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I had an appointment this morning at 10:50. I arrived at 10:47 am. There were 2 individuals at the front desk. No other patients in the clinic but me. Nobody greeted me nor acknowledged me. I stood there for about 5 minutes like an idiot. The female was looking at her phone and was asking questions about what she was looking at to the male person at the front. I finally said "I have an appointment at 10:50" The male person said, sign in on the clip board. I signed in at 10:54. I took a seat. I watched a few patients come in and out (all were greeted and acknowledged). Finally at 11:25, the female rep said "Ma'am are you signing in?" I replied, "I did and I have been here since 10:50" She looked surprised and she leaned over to the male person and said "I don't think she signed in?" I overheard her and I said to her "I did and I signed in on the clip board" She was quiet. This was the time they gave me the paper work to complete. Then they told me, they do not have my referral form. I said, my insurance faxed it over on the day I made the appointment. They said they couldn't find it or they don't have it. They would have to re-schedule me (per provider's call) because I do not have my referral. At this point, I am SO DISSAPOINTED for the worst customer service. I took my day off to come in for my appointment on time and I am being re-scheduled because they don't have the referral. All this time during my wait, the female individual were talking to another female co-worker about another co-worker and how she complained about her to the doctor. I waited and sat in front of the counter but apparently, I was invisible. I sat in plain sight but I was not acknowledged at all. This clinic had the audacity to blame me for not having the referral well in fact, it was confirmed by my insurance company that it was faxed over to them. WILL NOT GO BACK. DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Excellent early morning appointment. I was in and out by 8:38am The office waiting area is spacious and clean. The receptionist was very helpful (I forget my new ID card). She was able to get the info from another source on my behalf. The staff introduce themselves to you as you go through different pre-visit interviews. I am very pleased with Dr. Copeland and the staff at the Fort Washington location.

I have been a patient of the Annapolis office for a couple of years. I made an appointment with La Plata’s office because I wanted something nearer. I must say CRNP Chanda Copeland made a big difference. She offered a different type of treatment that worked. She listened carefully to what I had to say. She educated me about the condition I have. I am very lucky I found her. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

The LaPlata office does its own scheduling and they NEVER answer the phone. It’s impossible to get an appointment, much less reschedule or cancel. I got charged a “no show” fee for missing an appointment that I’d spent two weeks trying to reschedule. I liked my provider but I won’t go back to an office where I can’t reach them about something basic. Either hire more office staff or use the same scheduling system the rest of your practices uses. Edit: Response to the owner - I would LOVE to reach out to them to discuss the "no show" fee but no one answers the phone. If you'd read my review, you'd understand that was the problem in the first place.
