Anne Arundel Dermatology - Towson

Seems like a nice, friendly place. Everyone was great. I was in an out before I knew it. The front desk lady, Kirsten the assistant, and Amanda Bender were all efficient and explained everything. I didn't realize they closed at 4pm. It was a Friday. I was a little late for my 3:15, but they have a 15 min grace period Thank God. For a very first visit, late on a Friday, when everyone had a long week and wanted to go home, I felt like I was still taken care of just fine. Thanks for making me feel like I was important. 🙂

I am very very upset 😡 they don't call you back when they have appointments available. They don't call you back on the call back online You can't book a appointment online because the system times you out. How am I suppose to speak to a person of your always on hold 🤔 but can't talk to a human to book a appointment. My kid needs one but you can't get thru. So now I have to drive all the way to Towson to make a damn appointment . Unbelievable!

The front desk greeters were welcoming and ready to facilitate the check-in process. Amanda greeted me warmly at the door to the patient room and was clearly happy to get me settled and ready to see Dr. Patel on time. Dr. Patel listened to my concerns shared previously with Amanda and gave me a thorough head to toe examine. She answered my questions and affirmed that my skin was healthy and a visit in one year was a fine plan. Amanda again offered her services to facilitate my plan with cream samples and a prescription for my scalp. Overall it was definitely a five star appointment!

There is no adult doctor at this location and so not disclose that. Amanda Bender is only a P.A. and only knows how to give you antibiotics. She won't look at your chart. Won't look at your issue. I don't think she put on gloves. Won't allow you to ask questions or make comments. She was very condescending, talked to me like I was stupid and finally recommended the only antibiotic that I am allergic to. It may be ok if you're taking a child but if you're an adult, stay far away.
