Derm ASAP of Integrated Dermatology

Dr. Reed and his staff have treated me with such care and integrity. The appointments are pretty much on time with minimal wait, and the treatments have been great. I finally found a Doctor and his staff to take care of my needs.

I don’t recommend this place at all I’ve been to a couple apts with dr. Jinga. I drove all that was to be looked at for two minutes it was very rushed and seemed like it was very careless. I tried to explain my other conditions and it was dismissed and told I could get blood work and start a shot. I did my own research as I have a serious condition that can have bad side effects with certain meds and was appalled at what I could go through if I took said medication. I brought my concerns up in the next apt and mentioned my condition again and how worried I was about the side effects and was basically attacked over it and told I was wrong and need to take the meds mentioned my condition one more time and she said what’s that? As if she never heard of it but I did mention the first apt in hope she would be in touch with my pcp to confirm if these meds are right for me. She rolled her eyes many times through my concerns I felt very uncomfortable both apts and as if I was being forced into something I didn’t want to do. I asked if there were other options or tips I could use to help with my problem and was met with more eye rolls and a nope. Was told to come back a couple months later decided to cancel my apt because I won’t be going back now that I have my diagnosis my pcp had told me she was lying and there was plenty of meds out there to help with my condition and for her to put me on what she was trying to was insane with my other condition and could it caused me serious health issue just like I was concerned about. This place will try to intimidate you and push things on you I would steer clear of this place . As I was walking out I could hear her screaming at someone it was so unprofessional and really made me feel uncomfortable.

Something has gone seriously wrong with this practice. I talked to someone by phone about what I'd like done (skin check and concerns about postpartum hair loss) and they said this would be covered within the annual appointment based on my insurance. When I got there, Dr. Jinga was abrupt and rude. She told me she didn't have enough time to do both a hair check and skin check and that I'd have to choose. She spent two minutes looking at my scalp and said it looked fine and I could go get blood drawn else where and then rebook and appointment to come back. It was so rushed and I learned nothing from her. I pushed back and asked for the skin check, since that's what I had booked with the receptionist. She rolled her eyes and said she'd finish with a few other patients first then be back. Once she was out of the room, her assistant mentioned management was forcing them to book as many patients as they could and that's why they were so rushed. She came back, did a 2 minute check, and was out of there. I spent maybe eight minutes max with her and learned nothing. After the receptionist said I had no copay because it was my annual appointment, I recieved a $350 charge. After going back and forth with them and insurance, it went down to a $60 copay which still seems absurd for the lack of value this appointment had. This place is clearly about booking as many appointments as possible and not patient care. It's too bad, because I was impressed by Dr. Jinga a few years ago. Guess everyone has to sell their soul eventually in this field!

I have never been in and out of a doctors office so quickly. I went in for my yearly skin check with a concerned spot. I guess the doctor came in, she only introduced herself as Rebecca, no idea her last name, and performed the fastest body skin check I have ever had, and I was in/out in 5 min. I asked her about my concerned spot and she barely looked at it and said “it’s fine.” I will never go back, I am from Maryland and saw a dermatologist for years there that spent 10-15 min doing a body scan, checking my whole scalp as I am high risk with the autoimmune disorder/medications I am on, and have lighter skin with freckles. I’m very disappointed and do not recommend.

Dr. Bahros was very courteous, knowledgeable, and procedure was completed quicker than anticipated. Amber in the front office went above and beyond while assisting me procure my prescription. 10/10 will be returning.
