ILLUME Skin Spa

I got a Brazilian and lower leg wax.. I’m so disappointed in my wax. It was also the messiest & least sanitary wax I have ever gotten. I’m picking hairs off my legs + private part. After a wax, I should be hair free. I’m picking wax and random hairs off my skin after? C’mon. And I could visibly see the many spots that were missed! I won’t be returning. Oh, one more thing. I had to pay a “$25” reschedule fee.. even though I called hours before my scheduled appointment. I won’t be returning. I like top tier service and starting with cleanliness!

I’m so lucky and blessed to work with Vanessa: she’s so well versed in all dermatology and facial treatments. I had a deep scar from a dog bite on my right upper temple & brow (something that would have likely needed several thousands of dollars of treatment to address surgically. With Vanessa’s guidance and support - my scar today is barely noticeable and my skin has continued to improve: I get constant compliments at the brightness and quality of my skin (Photo post microdermabrasion treatment below)

I bought a lamination eyebrow wax and tint from Groupon. Booking was a breeze. The place was nice and clean. First. I would not go again. I had 2 ladies, one for lamination and 1 for wax and tint. The lamination girl did fine but wish she spoked about the process and what she was applying on my face. (Last 2 photos was right after the lamination) Now to the worst part. I wish I took photos before I told the tinted/wax lady to fix it but I didn't. I had the lady fix my eyebrows a few times because they were so boxy. The tint was horrible!! Yes, they tint your hair but they also tint your skin for a few days.. GUYS IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! The 3-5 photos was when i got to my car. There was still wax on my face. And it was uneven SHE ALSO DOUBLE/TRIPLE WHATEVER DIPPED INTO THE WAX! I saw and called her out on it. She stated that there were 2 other sticks behind the wax machine. Buttt....only had like 4 sticks out. So I would definitely be careful!!! The first few photos are the after math of the wax. Honestly it wasnt hot. But somehow it left scars on my skin for a few days!. But you judge for urself. I wouldn't personally go again for it.

I love to visit Illume spa, the place is very clean and peaceful. Jessica is amazing, welcoming and friendly. Her skills are outstanding, I got the laser treatment and the results came really fast. Unfortunately I had to move from Massachusetts and I still haven't found someone as good as her!!! I really recommend her treatments…

Beautiful spa! Jessika did an amazing job with my powder brows. She listened to what I was hoping to achieve and nailed it! Look forward to seeing her again for my touch up. Highly recommend.
