Hello, this is my first time at this office. I was very satisfied from the front desk to the point where I was in the room being a new patient. Amanda was great and very personable. I did not know how I would feel taking my wig off because my hair has fallen out and she made me feel very comfortable and the other lady that was assisting her didn’t get her name very personable as well made me feel very comfortable. Amanda even offered for Dr. Singer to come in and take a look at my scalp he took his time he looked at my scalp, made his recommendations Did a biopsy all of my first visit and gave me cream for my scalp I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I am looking forward to my next visit I was devastated When my hair came out very devastated I already pray not to get depressed, but they took me right away I didn’t have to wait For an appointment, they gave me an appointment the first day I called and this is on holiday so that was exceptional Thank you, staff and Dr. Singer
I have been going to Singer Dermatology for years. I see Dani who is so patient kind understanding I would be lost without her. She’s so busy and yet if she runs behind, I so understand because she’s in such demand and spend so much time she does not dine and dash!!! The girls at the desk treat you like family. They know my name when I come in. They’re so kind. I would recommend Singer Dermatology to anyone who was looking for the best of the best. Thank you for being there for everybody Singer Dermatology.
I recently visited Singer Dermatology and I was highly impressed with the professionalism and care provided. From the moment I entered the office, the staff was welcoming and efficient. The facility itself is clean, modern, and well-equipped, reflecting their commitment to high standards of care. The office staff was attentive and organized, helping to streamline the entire experience from scheduling to follow-up. Overall, Singer Dermatology provides outstanding service and care. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dermatological services in the Detroit area.
Dr. Singer is a wonderful and very knowledgeable doctor. He is prompt in his communications, and visits. I came to him for a second opinion and I am so glad I did! He thinks outside the box, and I am grateful to be his patient.
i want to share my experience. Today November 25, I called and asked if they were still doing a walk in for acne injections, they said yes so i went. I arrived at like 3:05 and they took me to their room in about ten minutes, so did not wait long. As I sat in the room, a lady told me someone will be with me shortly, I waited till about 3:40. So like 30 minutes, but thats okay, I am appreciative they even took me in. A Lady PA comes in, she did not introduce herself so I am not sure what her name was. She was wearing a mask, it had some designs on it, and her hair was pulled up. she did my injection, and as she was cleaning up i decided to ask her a question, I said "i have a question-' and then she rudely interrupted me, said 'This is a walk in injection, we have patients we need to squeeze in, you have a question, you make an appointment' left, did not even say bye, or have a good day, and SLAMMED the door. Honestly, it rattled me. and I know its an injection and again appreciative that they took me in. But I was not even going to ask for a prescription or for her to treat something else. My question was what kind of moisturizer she recommends (she was tidying up her space, so it wasn't like I was taking time from other patients), but I couldn't even ask that because she interrupted my question, and I won't make an appointment to ask that question. Now I am writing this because this isn't the first time a PA in here has been rude or not taken me as seriously when I come alone. I do not like bringing stereotypes or genders, but I truly am sick of thinking they can just not take me seriously or be rude because i am young, I'm 19. My parents work full-time and I go to college, so I go myself. I know if i was a man or older or if my mom or dad were with me she would not have slammed the door that way and been that rude and professionals would take me more seriously. just because someone is younger doesn't mean that their concerns/questions are not as valid, or that you can treat them rudely and get away with it(I have come here with my dad once, and suddenly my questions were taken into consideration). I come here because they take my insurance, which i am SO GRATEFUL for, but please just take me seriously and don't be rude and think you can get away with it because you're in your 30/40's talking to a teenager. EDIT TO SINGERS REPLY: 1- Dr singer replied with "I am disappointed after all of these visits, that you would leave this review. It is so easy to vent online.' my answer: I am not sure why you are disappointed as you said just because your staff took care of me for two years. People can leave reviews, also it is not venting, not sure why you wrote that?. It is valid criticism/feedback. That is how you grow your business. That is what Google reviews are for, so customers have a safe place to share their experiences. 2- Doctor singer asked "When you saw Dana and had a great experience, where was your review then? My answer; not sure why you would feel obligated for a review then. Dana is amazing, but as a professional, it is the bare minimum to not discriminate and take consideration of your patients. I wrote that in my review because Dana was the ONLY one who did it, and I will not write a positive review for that when it is considered the bare minimum of a medical profession. Doctor singer you also replied 'We take difficult insurances that no one else in this area will take because we believe in helping all patients, not just the ones with good paying insurances. That is why we became providers.". (also do you want brownie points? a cookie ?). my answer- In my original review I wrote how i am appreciative that you took my insurance and showed gratitude and yes you take difficult insurance but it does not mean that someone shouldnt "vent" and talk about their experience. Doctor Singer in your reply you asked why I did not speak to front desk and I quote "very disappointed in how you handled things" My answer; Because I do not want to stress a front desk worker who did not do anything.
