Michael A. Dorman, MD

Great staff - and I like Michael Dorman very much. Update 2024: While Dr. Dorman is a good guy, I think that they have taken on too many patients. Getting them to follow-through on new medication requests is now next to impossible. I asked my PCP for a recommendation on moving to a new dermatologist. So, I made the move, and am finding that there are better run doctor's offices than Michael's.

I arrived a few minutes early; the receptionist was very pleasant and efficient with getting the very last of the paperwork in place. The nursing assistant (Her name starts with an M, a brunette) was gracious and patient with my questions. Dr. Dorman was kind, thorough, asked me about my concerns, and acted to remove the two areas of my skin that I was concerned about. I had the feeling that this is a place that cares deeply about their patients' well-being. I had had an excellent dermatologist in New Jersey who I saw for at least six or seven years. It is nice to think that I have found my "forever while in Michigan" dermatologist here.

Dr Dorman has treated My Wife and I for 10 Years and we have been very happy. He has always taken whatever time has been necessary for treatment and discussion. Have never felt rushed on any visit!

I respect Dr. Dorman and the staff that assist him with each visit. Appointments are kept in a timely fashion, the office and pt. rooms clean and neat. Dr. Dorman, makes a connection with his clients and remembers personal stories shared with him. He has managed my care for several years, always discusses options and respects my input to treatments. Bottom line, I trust him with my skin. Again another 5 star rating for yesterday's visit.

Dr. Dorman has been taking care of our family for well over 20 years, as a very professional, friendly and competent physician. He explains any issues that come up and handles them with the utmost care.
