CentraCare - Sauk Centre Clinic

(Likely due to Covid) Short staffed and seemed to be high turnover. My grandpa has been there quite a while. When he had an injury on his leg, the staff was not addressing the wound as directed by the doctor. Whether this is a system or staffing problem, I do not know. It seems better training and shift changes need to be addressed. When I asked the nurse when last bath was or would be due along with wound care she did not know. She said she had to check the system (even though it should have been checked already). There were instructions posted in the room on how to properly dress the wound but it was still not being done correctly. Additionally they have changed his medications several times without notifying family or power of attorney what the changes were, what they were prescribed for or what side effects they may have. When I asked for a supervisor or director while there they referred me to his current care person who was brand new (clearly not a supervisor). *edit: they also have not updated the online portal in four months.

CentraCare in Sauk Centre is great. Staff and doctors are always friendly, helpful and professional. Never a wait. I really appreciate it being so close to where I live.

The doctor name ulrika wigert was very rude to me she said what I came in today isn’t a emergency and that I shouldn’t have come in here cause emergency room are for emergency only
