Memorial Physician Clinics Diamondhead Family Medicine

Terrible time talking to the staff you basically have to do all the work for them. I had to go into the office and sign papers for a record transfer. The girl said she would request the records for the doctor but she didn’t we had to call bothe doctors over 8 times just to get the records transferred.. after waiting 5 days for a call back with my test results I got a call from a licensed nurse that told me everything was good with my test and I have nothing to worry about. I looked on my portal and 2 of my blood test showed high abnormal results and the licensed nurse didn’t mention it.

My grandmother goes to this doctors office, and with her being disabled and in serious pain 24/7 she has a hard time sitting in the exam rooms for long periods of time. me and my mother take turns bringing her to her appointments, the last time i brought her i dropped her off around 2 for a 2:15 appointment, by 4:30 i got so mad that she was still in there i walked up to the desk as she was walking out the door from the exam rooms. apparently they skipped over her cause she was in the restroom from sitting in an exam room for an hour. this also happened when my mother had brought her. She said she told the lady her mother had been back there for almost 3 hours and the lady told her “ well she will just have to wait till it’s her turn” IT WAS HER TURN hours ago! ridiculous to top it off, my grandmother went to the doctors office just yesterday and was told her medicine would be called in that same day, i go to pick it up today it wasn’t called in, so she calls the office they tell her they will call it in, time goes by pharmacy still hasn’t gotten called, calls back AGAIN lady at the doctors office says oh she’ll call it in, well it’s the next day and we are still waiting for them to call her damn medicine in. SOOOO ridiculous. i’m furious

I’ve always had good experiences at this facility until my most recent visit. My insurance required two separate PA’s (so far.) There has been zero communication attempts by Memorial in the near 3 weeks this is ongoing. I’m rudely told something different each time I’ve called as if I’m a huge inconvenience. I get that places are busy and short staffed but I draw the line with the inconsistency of the information given. After speaking to the office manager, I believe it’s time to find a new primary. Would highly recommend them for basic doctor visits though, the nursing staff and doctors always took great care of us. Remove the admin NIGHTMARE and this place is easy 5/5 rating.

Wouldn’t place a TB skin test on a Friday because it needs to be read in 48-72hrs…guess weekends are longer than I thought. Oshner urgent care placed it on Friday, Ochsner wins again

Absolutely wonderful staff! I had to have my second pap smear. I was super nervous because I had a very rough experience 3 years prior at a different clinic. A tech named Melinda did my intake and put me at such ease! Then Dr. Bondio and the nurse were very understanding, walking me through the procedure and letting me go at my own pace. It was a much more manageable procedure, and I felt very safe and secure.
