Not sure about the other reviews here...but I called at the last minute and they got me in right away to see Dr. Jennifer Stone, which is unheard of these days. She must be a newer partner because i don't see her on their website yet so you might want to ask for her specifically. My only wait was to fill out paperwork as a new patient so no complaints there. Everyone who helped me was polite and they seemed to truly care about my experience and the facilities were very clean and neat. Jennifer was awesome - everything was explained in detail and they even called in my prescription - that's also unheard of these days. Usually you are sent out of the door with a piece of paper. I was truly amazed with their service and will definitely see her again!
The receptionist working on 1/24/22 with a red bandanna on her head was very rude; lacks good customer service skills. I stood at the front desk to sign in for about 45 seconds; she did not acknowledge my presence. I lightly tapped on the plexiglass to get her attention, she held up her index finger and said I will be with you in one second, as if I was a bother to her in that moment. She returned to looking at an insurance card and tapping on the keyboard. She ignored me, the customer standing in front of her to tap on a keyboard. Once she finished tapping on the keyboard, she gave me paperwork to complete. No greeting/hello, how can I help you…nada. And this is the first person of contact at the facility. In walks another lady behind me of a different ethnicity and she happily greets her and asks how can I help you? I understand we all get busy at times on the job, but good customer service and competence are what it takes to sustain a business this day and age; every time, every customer. I have patronized this business for well over 3 years. Needless to say, I will not be back. I refuse to spend my hard earned dollars at an establishment where my presence as the customer is not acknowledged nor appreciated.
I have been coming to this clinic for 2 years for treatment of my acne and HS. Everytime I come the waiting is very minimum if any at all. I also love that any questions or concerns that I have about my treatment, that they always take the time to explain everything to me. I have seen Dr. Henson, Misty and Danielle and they all very welcoming and friendly as well as the staff. The office is always clean and tidy.
I am echoing the sentiments of “A Google User” from a year ago. I wish that I would have seen and read her review sooner. Because my experience at Dermatology Clinic was so bad, I began looking for a place to vent my frustrations and hopefully help someone avoid this so called dermatology medical care clinic. I had an appointment with Jeannie Lewis, PA. I was told by the appointment setter that the PA was capable of doing everything including diagnosing and treating conditions just like the doctor. Jeannie Lewis was nice, but, after having a biopsy and getting the results back from the lab, I never received any treatment for my condition and the she (the clinic) would not return my phone calls. That place is a joke! They just took my money (copay and insurance payment), gave me the lab results and did not treat my condition or even diagnose it. I don’t believe Ms. Lewis is a real medical professional, because she did not diagnose or treat my condition. I do not believe she knows what she is doing from a medical standpoint and that’s why she’s not returning my phone calls. She doesn’t know what to do. I am very upset with this clinic. They have wasted my time, prolonged my illness, and hindered me from receiving real treatment. I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy! The treatment and service is poor. The office environment is fair.
I didn't have to wait long to be taken back to a room, and that's the only positive part of my visit. I was called back at the same time as another patient and put in a room, where I sat for a few minutes after being asked a few questions. I was visiting to have a mole looked at and for acne treatment, so I was asked to take my shirt off and put on the paper smock. Before I could get the smock on, Dr. Henson barged in the room without even knocking. She barely glanced at my mole, even when I tried to explain my dad is currently dealing with squamous and basil carcinoma. She then looked at my face, and said "yeah, you have some acne with inflammation" and prescribed me an antibiotic and cream. So she spent about 2-3 minutes in the room with me, and was very rushed, almost rude. I know there's testing that can be done to determine the type and cause of acne, but she never offered to do anything else. Basically, I paid my copay to be told what I already knew I had. I'm definitely going elsewhere for my skin care needs.
