Henderson Women's Care - (Dr. Tanita, Dr. Pena, Dr. Goravanchi, Dr. Hernandez, Cody Thorson PA-C & Amy Monrreal PA-C)

I had an exceptional experience at Henderson Woman’s Care with Doug Tanita. From start to finish, he thoroughly explained every step of the process, making sure I felt informed and comfortable. The entire staff was amazing—attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing an outstanding experience. I could feel the passion Doug and the team have for their patients and the community. They genuinely put my needs, concerns, and health first, which made all the difference. I highly recommend Henderson Woman’s Care for anyone looking for quality, patient-centered care!

My doctor is Dr. Hernandez during my pregnancy. I like that he pushes exercising even if you don’t feel good because when I do I feel so much better physically/mentally. It’s easy to sit and do nothing during pregnancy but he pushes you to keep active and pregnancy isn’t excuse to be lazy. He’s very reassuring and his advice makes me feel healthier for me and the baby. He’s knowledgeable,good at answering questions. My mom went to my last appointment and we walked out talking about how much we liked him. Great doctor :-)

I am always nervous going to a new doctor’s office. From the start of visit, the front office staff was very welcoming. Dr. Tanita was great. He was so patient and gave me great information and thoroughly took me through my options. I am so grateful that I will be a returning customer. All staff there was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate. Definitely recommend Dr Doug Tanita and his medical office.

Dr. Peña is an amazing physician. Highly intelligent but equally collaborative with the patient. She saw us through most of our pregnancy and I always felt that I was in excellent care. She is quite holistic and always encouraged to reach out postpartum for any mental health needs. The group communicated well between one another and Henderson hospital staff when having to transfer care (she was off for our c-section and Dr. Hernandez was extremely flexible with our unique schedule and I recovered well with barely any scar). I saw all the providers and had a good experience with them, including their medical assistants.

By far the worst experience ever ! They don’t give you a certain doctor. They run levels just to run your insurance. Results are not given to you, when taking test. Dr. Frank Hernandez doesn’t even greet the spouse when walking in. No personality whatsoever, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Please do not go here, if you are looking for a great pregnancy experience. They will treat you like a number !!!!!!
