Skin Cancer and Dermatology Institute - Moana

We arrived for our appointments 1/2 hour early and checked in, or so we thought. 15 minutes later we were called back up and told to complete a computer check in. We did. 15 minutes later we were called back up to say we had NOT completed the entire check in, given back the computer to continue by the Rude receptionist. We did and we were informed we would need to do this paper work every time we came in by this person (Left hand desk with glasses) Than, we waited another 15 minutes and nothing. We went back up to the Rude receptionist told us it would be awhile while they prepped the room. This was unacceptable our appointments were at 9:30 and it was now 11:00 We left - please let John Burns we will not be returning.

I really like Doctor Blackheart. He did exactly what I hoped he would. Now I won't worry about the spots he froze off, because he really does such a thorough job. I really liked his personality too. I'm hoping I might see him again if I am really troubled about a skin keratosis that might be something worse. They were really nice at the front desk, and I got into see the doctor really fast. The lady who led me back was very patient and kind, as I'm disabled and walk very slowly. It was definitely a 5 star visit.☆☆☆☆☆±

My experience with SC&D has been a 5-star experience. The entire team is extremely professional. What I find truly impressive is not having to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen. At my last appointment, I arrived early and they had me in and out before my scheduled appointment time. They ROCK!

The office is clean and presentable, the associate at the front desk seemed impatient and annoyed with me, and didn’t make me feel very welcome. The appointment was very brief and felt a bit rushed, and I wasn’t specifically told before the numbing was done or biopsies were taken. Overall my experience was okay and felt the services were good, but I did feel rushed through the whole process.

I am extremely happy with my experience at Skin Cancer & Dermatology (Moana office). I hadn’t been seen in over 4 years and I easily completed my registration online ahead of my appointment. This made check in and my wait time just minutes. I highly recommend Laura Biehle PAC. She is so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She exceeded my expectations following the exam by offering treatment for my conditions on the spot. I was extremely grateful to complete my consultation and treatment in the same day since I have to travel from out of town. Quick and simple (5 frozen, 4 cauterized, 1 snipped & 3 biopsies) … then I checked out & scheduled my 1yr follow up. I don’t want to forget to say that Laura’s assistant was just as fantastic. I am overjoyed with my visit and give Laura, this office & their staff five stars!!
