I saw Kara Fiore at my recent visit to Seacoast Dermatology. The office got me in on short notice to check me out for a skin rash on my scalp. Kara was very professional and took a biopsy of the rash while I was in the office to determine a course of treatment. In addition, she sent a sample in for laboratory evaluation to determine the most appropriate medication. She prescribed topical treatments immediately and indicated that she'd follow up with oral medication after the laboratory test was complete. I appreciated the quick scheduling and evidence based approach to treatment. Kara also made a point to ask me if I had any questions at the end, which was great. However, I did feel that we could have spent more time discussing the history of the present illness and prior medications. I was also a bit disappointed that I will have wait several days before I will start an oral medication. Finally, it would have been helpful if she gave me a quick recap of my next steps before asking if I had questions about what I had to do or should expect. Outside of the appointment itself, I found the portal confusing and I couldn't figure out how to log in, which was disappointing. That being said, I had a good experience at Seacoast Dermatology (despite my nit-picking). I left feeling assured that I was being given effective treatment, and I'm hopeful that my skin rash will resolve soon.
I had a wonderful experience. I had to cancel my original six month check up due to flight delays coming back to Boston. I had two very attentive people working with me. My dermatologist was so thorough and found multiple concerns that I had and took care of things. I would highly recommend this facility and also the ability to rebook and get an appointment within a week which is a rarity.
Great team! Megan took the time to explain everything she was seeing at my recent annual checkup, and presented me with a couple of options for treatment. They are friendly and professional, highly recommend!
Kara was very welcoming, professional and kind. I felt very comfortable with her. She explained everything really well and happily answered my questions. I am very appreciative of my visit with her.
Kara was very professional and attentive for my visit. Her and her assistant did a wonderful job! I did not feel any pain during the biopsy procedure. Thank you!
