Metropolitan Dermatology - Belleville

Horrible communications, don’t go here.. I came here today and sat patiently for my turn then they tell me I have a copay but when I added my insurance information prior to my visit, no one confirmed this when they called me a million times to confirm my visit. I didn’t have the copay at this time, so the receptionist says “well unfortunately we can’t see you” not “do you mind rescheduling on a day when you have the copay?” Again bad communications and kind of rude as well. Wasted part of my day.

She was very attentive, assuring and listened to my concerns. She did not rush the appt and responding with empathy, which you rarely see today.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Eastern for approx 35-40 years. The only Dermatologist that has EVER helped my skin issues. Although there were long waits in the past I always returned….over the past 10 years I really didn’t have a need for a dermatologist, (I’m old) until this week….and once again Dr Eastern to the rescue. His staff was awesome too. Most especially Jennifer. My insurance co would not approve meds. I’m guessing they were too pricey-over $500 but Jennifer found me a local pharmacy who deals with this type of concern + they were kind enough to use a rebate/coupon. I was able to get both RX’s for a fraction of the cost. Thank you, Dr Eastern, Jennifer + staff!!!

I have had previous experiences with Dr. Eastern. He has treated both myself and family members. I have always found the Dr. and his staff very professional and friendly. I've never had to wait long either. The Dr. Has always made me feel very comfortable during my office visits.

Inept people, asked numerous times about working with my insurance, providing the insurance cards and uploaded to their site, got a bill for the full amount months later saying they don't work with my insurance
