Inspira Behavioral Health Bridgeton

The way the mental health unit treated my mother in a stage of crisis is absolutely disgusting she got into a verbal altercation with a staff member and was told they would call the police on her. She was told she was given an option to go to a rehab facility when she declined going all the way to North Jersey it became an even bigger issue they wouldn’t even try to find her a different facility closer to home. The next day she was discharged from the program although she expressed not being ready to recenter society. Upon going to the pharmacy to pick up her medication she found that they never called in all the prescriptions she was supposed to take. We have been calling Inspira trying to get her medication corrected as she was experiencing issues still only for the women who answered the phone Patti and Dee to be very unprofessional nd argumentative. My mother was told not to return to the facility by Christine until she reevaluates herself and think about how she could have went to a program but decided against it. The staff in Inspira need to understand that PATIENTS COME FIRST nd patient care is a big part of their jobs. I’ve never encountered so many rude condescending and arrogant staff and I’ve been in the medical field for 19years. This has been such a heart breaking experience I truly hope staff are reprimanded for the way they treat patients. But as I see Inspiras reviews are already horrible. This place needs to be shut down!

Worst experience of my life. First day I went in it's confusing you have to knock on a window to ask for things and half the time they ignore you. They force feed you medication even if you request not to have it even if in the past you had a reaction to it. Rooms are loud at night people walking around shirtless and shoes screeching. on my first day I had a guy who held a piece of paper up to his wrist pretending to SH and I reported him to a staff member and he still kept doing it the rest of my time there. I was also dealing with nausea and vomiting and they did nothing to help me with that they gave me zofran called it a day and never checked up on me I threw up 3 times while there and nobody cared. The cafeteria room where you eat had loud blasting music so if you have autism and sensory issues like I do I do not recommend going here at all because it was so loud I had to eat in my room the entire stay while everyone else was dancing it was just too much for me. I was very uncomfortable my whole stay.

Ruined my life when I couldn't take anymore as it was. Hope the social worker and Dr overseeing my care rot. They know nothing about medicine. Nurses and support staff- God bless em
