I read two previous reviews. I do not think they are about this business, the doctor name was wrong in the first, and doctor specialty in the second. I had no problems with doctor Hershenbaum herself. During my visit she was nice and very professional. She was recommended to me by doctor Sharon Fried, which I left for insurance reason. But the stuff is terrible and unprofessional. The tel. system did not work for 10 days and not even attempted to be fixed. Many patients are being scheduled for the same time to maximize the profit. They failed to inform me that my HMO refferal was expired and I walked out of appointment for pure accident avoiding charges for the visit otherwise. They do not even bother to remind about upcoming appointment.

Overall shocking experience, receptionists and staff aren't aware of how to conduct their business, limited knowledge with rather serious attitude. Dr. Benjamin Chouake has no real bed-side manners either; crew took my vitals and two hours later dr walks in with a rather nonchalant "we're sorry for making you wait." (In this tiny and uncomfortable room ridden with equipment from the 70's) Regarding the unnecessary tests, yes, that's true - I had few ridiculous things done just to diagnose symptoms of common cold. Then I told him what I took in the past to remedy such conditions and he gave me the same. Do not recommend!! Would not come back.

Can’t even begin to explain how unprofessional this practice is! Front desk staff is rude and condescending. I called twice to confirm I would be seen as a walk in and the doctor decided to stop seeing patients after I had arrived! Talk about not respecting someone’s time! Extremely rude and inconsiderate. Please don't waste your time!

Dr. Hershenbaum is by far the best dermatologist I have been to and I have been to many. I’ve been going to her for years now. She is thorough and if your problem is curable she will prescribe medication that will cure the issue. Wait is long but worth while in my opinion.

Hate this place. Don’t waste your time going, if you are going to the dermatology department. I’ll tell you now how your experience is going to go. First you will go with an appointment. Just know that they overbook people so your appointment means nothing. The receptionist make you sign in and then skip people and wonder why others get mad. You sit in the waiting room for hours then when they call you to the room. You think “omg finally”. But all you are going to do is wait some more inside the room. Find yourself an office with a better system. These people get a 0 rating from me
