New Reflections Plastic Surgery

My mother fell outside and split her chin open a few weeks ago. We went to Ocean Medical ER to be seen medically. The ER staff couldn't find any Plastic Surgeon on call. The PA on the floor reached out to Dr. Patel and said he would take her the next morning. The next day when we got to his office, he took one look at my mother's face and said, "I'll be right back, I have to think about this for a moment." That impressed me the most, that instead of sewing in a couple stitches, he took the time with this intricate situation. He felt her wound would be better suited at CentraState for Minor Surgery the next AM. We were so happy he made that decision! Her mouth and wound had to be irrigated since there was still pavement and gravel in the wound. My mother was nervous, but while Dr. Patel was cleaning her and stitching her up, Nurse Jenn was holding her hand, comforting her the whole time. Jenn gave us her cell for any questions and to communicate with us - who does that?! We just came to our follow-up appointment to take out my mothers stitches and it looks wonderful! Everything from A-Z was perfect. I had a dog bite incident in January and WISH I found Dr. Patel sooner! Whether surgical or cosmetic, I highly recommend Dr. Patel and Jenn. Thank you!

My daughter had multiple surgeries with Dr. Patel and all came out terrible. Her self esteem has since plummeted to the point where she has had to start therapy. As a parent, it is very disturbing to see your child go through such anguish and not feel like themselves any more. She has not taken one vacation in 2 years though she used to travel regularly… she does not want anyone to see her body. It is very disheartening. She has tried to consult with other surgeons to get it fixed but they said the damage is beyond repair. I hope that she can accept her New reflection but she struggles everyday. Parents- I know that we cannot control our adult children but beware of letting them have this surgeon operate on them.

Hate my new reflection and everyday that I have to look in the mirror and see that I’m botched! It’s been a year and a half … I thought getting this body contouring procedure would improve my appearance but instead it has mutilated me and I have not been in a swimsuit or any tight-fitting clothes since. The worst part is that I’ve been on multiple consultations with other surgeons to see if it can be corrected and the majority of them say it is very difficult, if not impossible, to fix the defects that Dr. Patel left me with. Because he over-corrected me, I am left with devastating disfigurement. I am so sad that this is my reality and I write this review for others so that they can avoid the pain, suffering, depression, and waste of money this has caused me by trusting Dr. Patel with my liposuction procedure. I absolutely regret it. He has yet to remedy the situation. If/ when he does, I will update my review. Thank you.

I love Dr Patel. I've now had 3 different procedures with him and he couldn't be more professional. I am so very happy with my results. He is a perfectionist which works in your favor. He explains everything in great detail and addresses any questions you have. I tell everyone who is thinking about having work done, about Dr. Patel. I look forward to having more work done by him in the future.

Dr Patel originally told me $1,500 for the earlobe pixie ear reconstruction. Then told me to come back in for a consultation again to clarify what would be done , then price suddenly went up by a thousand. So you’re saying $2,500 for an earlobe repair surgery?? That seems VERY high. He is greedy with money. Also they expect payment 2-3 weeks before any procedure. So if it comes out botched, you’re screwed. Little disappointed at the sudden increase in price when you told me $1500 the first time around. Would’ve stuck with this place til he increased price for a supposed “complicated earlobe surgery” even tho it actually is not all that hard. I’ve looked up average prices for pixie ear correction & it is not nearly that high. 👎🏼 Dr Patel is a nice doctor overall but I don’t like how he thought it was okay to tell me one price then increase it like that. He knew exactly what the procedure was, first consultation. Unfair and unethical. I will go elsewhere.
