Schweiger Dermatology Group - Hillsborough

I recently moved to Hillsborough from Florida. Early this year, I had under eye fillers for my hollow and dark circles eyes ( Florida). Over time I noticed the fillers had migrated creating small pockets. I was devastated by this and would hide my eyes behind my reading and sunglasses. I learned I was not a good candidate for this treatment. I decided to take care of this problem once I moved back to New Jersey. I read several reviews online while looking for a dermatologist. This was my first visit at Schweiger Dermatology Group. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Dr Karen Ly was extremely pleasant and professional! Dr Ly is kind and patient while being thorough. She was also very attentive to my concerns. I didn’t feel rushed when in her exam room. I really want to thank her for making me feel at ease and comfortable. She took the time to explain the process of dissolving the fillers. Within two weeks I can see a difference. The pockets were less noticeable. I returned to Dr Ly for a follow up. She completed the procedure dissolving any remaining fillers. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. I definitely plan on seeing Dr Karen Ly for my skin care needs. I would highly recommend Schweiger Dermatology Group to my friends and family.

The communication, follow through and attention to detail is HORRIBLE! On 01-31-25, I had my initial appointment. Everything was wonderful, warm and cozy (I even left a 5* rating for the doctor and her assistant) BUT... I received notification that my CANCER results were in on 02-10-25 early morning; and didn't get a competent human on the phone until afternoon on 02-12-25. I was misdirected, redirected and EVEN HUNG UP ON....! My daughter and I finally had a conference call with them because it was discovered that SOMEONE had used the wrong birthdate causing some of this mess. It was supposedly fixed on this day! "Your results weren't even signed off on until 10:52 this morning" with a very condescending tone; was her sentence to me during that conversation... 🥹 Shame on ALL of YOU ~ zero empathy ~ zero interpersonal skills ~ zero time management. And then, the icing on the cake = my pathology results and all paperwork that was NEEDED to get an appointment with a competent facility was basically being held hostage. FINALLY ~ on 02-19-25 ~ YES = OVER A FULL WEEK AFTER THE RESULTS WERE INITIALLY "IN" ~ I was handed all of the necessary paperwork... OH, and by the way ~ the birthdate is still incorrect!! Making me a FULL 16 years older than I am! I've since then e-mailed the office, left a YELP review and now this review. Don't waste your time here unless you want the added stress of INCOMPETENCE & ZERO EMPATHY!

I do not recommend this practice based on poor communication and rude, unprofessional behavior. My mother was notified that her biopsy results were ready on Monday and she was unable to access the patient portal because the office had the incorrect DOB on file. She called, left messages, and emailed the office repeatedly, anxiously awaiting her test results, with no response until Wednesday afternoon. Only after calling the office and requesting to speak with the doctor asap did she receive a return call 2 days later - and even then, the doctor was curt and blameful, excusing her delay in calling by stating she had only just returned to the office on Wednesday. This was not just routine blood work or a basic office visit - this was regarding results about a cancer diagnosis, something that you would expect a doctor’s office to be responsive and kind. Then when my mother indicated she would be following up with another group, they advised against it because they asserted they are “very good at what they do.” Inappropriate on all fronts and we will not be using or recommending this practice in the future. The office needs to be educated on compassionate care and customer service.

I had an emergency,last Friday afternoon,I contacted the Delran NJ office,after 3:00 PM they went out their way to set up a video appointment with the Hillsborough office,amazing,I'm very satisfied and happy,never had a great experience with an doctors office as I experienced with Schweiger Dermatology Group,you're the best 👍🏾

I have never had a more pleasant experience at a doctor’s office than I had at this office. Dr. Blanca Estupiñan has been the most compassionate and caring provider. Nowadays it’s very difficult to find a provider that genuinely cares about explaining what a patient should expect. I went in for cosmetic purposes, which can be scary when you’re looking for someone trustworthy. I’m more than happy with my results. Dr. Estupiñan so far has done filler and laser treatments on me and I’m in love with my results! My results are very natural and have only enhanced my original features. Even after leaving a message with the office about another question I had, Dr. Estupiñan got back to me very quickly.
