I came here to refresh my hair color as my roots were growing out and my hair color was fading. Maribel was very nice and she picked the perfect shade of red that came out absolutely beautiful! She also cut off any dead ends I had and styled it nicely! I recommend you come here for any hair services you need!

Bilian did an amazing job with my request of a balayage. I had never done anything with my hair and she was great at explaining every step as we went along.

Maribel did a great job on my color, cut, and style. I was visiting from Chicago and was referred by my daughter. Maribel worked magic on my previously done color job turning my unwanted brassy orange tones to beautiful icy blonde.

Too high prices, and extremely rude hairstylist who is out to scam customers! They absolutely disrespect customers too, she told me verbatim "she doesn't care about reviews from customers they get business anyways"! I asked for a straight trim without a hair wash, and I got charged for a hairwash and blowdry as well. When I asked her why I was getting charged for treatments I didnt get, she just told me that is how it works, even though she NEVER told me I would get charged for hair wash/blowdry even if I never got one. She even yelled at me and got aggressive when I asked for an explanation. If I could rate less than 1 star I would, since I have never received such terrible service from a hair salon ever!

I've been going to Avanti for 3-4 years and have not been disappointed. The staff, especially Maria Monsalve are amazing. It's gotten to the point that I just tell her to do whatever she thinks is best for my hair, and I know that I can trust her. I often go to get my hair cut, balayage and blowout. She makes it look so natural and the colors flow very nicely. I 100% recommend this place. It's super affordable too, in comparison to the other spots in Hoboken!
