I recently visited Salon X and had the pleasure of having Keila as my stylist. She is soft-spoken and not as chatty as most hairdressers, which I appreciate for the calm, quiet experience- as an introvert myself. Keila is incredibly meticulous in all-over full highlighting technique, a quality I have never encountered before although I’ve been to 4 other salons in the past 3 years. I’d def call her a blonding expert. Although my expected 4-hour visit turned into a longer session, the outcome was exactly what I wanted, and she maintained the integrity of my hair's health. She is also skilled at doing a quick blow out on my naturally curly hair.

Salon X is a super personable shop and the energy is always up. Mari is an excellent stylist and I trust her to do everything with my hair! Love coming here for the good vibes and great results!

They don't do mens hair, my husband had long shoulder length hair, ( he asked for a trim and showed pictures for reference) and they gave him a womens bob cut up to his chin. Don’t go here if you’re looking for anything other than a womens haircut. Nice people and environment, just not for men styling.

I went to Salon X to try the Keratin Treatment for my thick curly and damaged hair. I have been doing Japanese straightening in the city for years and felt it was time for a healthier option for my hair. Paul did an amazing job and my hair has never felt more healthy or easier to style. He also gave me a wonderful haircut . The environment is clean, beautiful and relaxing and the service was perfect. I highly recommend this salon and love the keratin treatment I got! A wonderful neighborhood salon!

Not the place to go if you have thick curly hair like mine. The stylist did not know how to blow it out (just ran a round brush through my hair without taking the time to smooth each section out) and to add to that, he spent the entire time telling me my hair was too frizzy to blow dry and kept selling their salon’s keratin treatment to me. I’ve never had such an awful blowout.. I had to leave with my hair in my bun. Note: he did offer to use a straightening iron but I didn’t want to risk doing more heat damage to my hair.
