I came here December 7th for a bridge piercing. I had made an appointment over the phone a week before, the girl on the phone said that was completely ok, and I would need to call them a few hours before the day of just to remind. I did so. Same girl had an attitude over the phone and told me that “they never schedule appointments and they would be unable to pierce me they day I supposedly made the appointment”. They asked me if I wanted to come in a different day, I told them no and I wanted to be pierced that day, that time. I went to the shop, got there at the time of my appointment. Door was locked, both owners were 30 minutes late for my appointment. They *heavily* smelled of marijuana when I greeted them. Didn’t tell me the price until after the piercing ($100), which I barely had enough money for. When they pierced me, they gave me a curved bar that was *way* too short. Piercing got INCREDIBLY infected and swollen. December 10th, I went in and they gave me a much longer bar. Still curved. I’ve never had curved jewelry put in after a piercing, but I’ve read online that it is bad for healing. Never had a problem with any piercing until this curved one (I have 9 other piercings, not including the bridge). Piercing remained incredibly infected. Went to urgent care, paid $75 for an antibiotic. Didn’t work. 12 weeks later, piercing is STILL severely infected and shows no signs of healing any time soon. Cannot go more than 4 hours without cleaning it, I even have alarms set in the middle of the night to get up to clean it. INCREDIBLY disappointed, will never come here again. If I could, I’d give this place zero stars. Every time I have come here in the past, there has always been an issue. I should’ve known better than to come here again.
Staff is very nice but quality of work is very disappointing. Two separate instances I received a tattoo from one artist who did a simple design on my ankle which left me to scar and come to find out the artist no longer works there anymore and I needed to get it touched up so I had to go to a different shop to fix their mistake. Aswell as I received a foward helix piercing which the artist was very sweet but the same day with the placement of where it was pierced I asked to come back to get moved just slightly and they wanted to still charge me almost full price for just moving it per the owner. I understand paying a small fee but I wasn’t going to pay almost 200.00 for a cartilage piercing. Now I have a very uncomfortable piercing that I’m unhappy with. I just feel like the shop is more about money than making their clients happy . Will not be going back there a third time.
I spontaneously decided to get my nose pierced on a Sunday a month ago, and chose this shop because it was one of the few open that day locally. The piercer was professional, thorough, and the shop was sanitary. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Fine Lines!
i came in to get an industrial done because i’ve been wanting one for a while now. i have a handful of piercings already and have preexisting cartilage piercings. I asked if they had any titanium jewelry since i’m allergic to any other material and they said they did not and gave some excuse as to why which I was a little thrown off about but didn’t think much and decided to switch to titanium after a month later. they went outside for a few minutes to smoke something which i didn’t realize was marijuana until right after the piercing because it was so blatantly obvious after that point. i was pierced with 2 separate circular barbells which, for healing purposes, is an absolute nightmare. they had someone front desk who doesn’t professionalize in piercings at all put my jewelry in (i’m assuming to give them experience with it??) without consulting with me in advance about that. their hands were very shaky and they struggled putting the balls on which just caused more irritation and pain. side note, my boyfriend got a tattoo the same day and it was shaded horribly! faded out into something almost unrecognizable once healed. $160 for a piercing that has no chance of healing right and over $300 for a tattoo with such poor quality is crazy to me. 9 months later and this piercing is nowhere near healed and my boyfriends tattoo needs a cover up. unbelievable.
These were the sweetest owners of a tattoo/piercing shop that I’ve been to ever. Super friendly and understanding, gave me more information that I loved! Definitely going back for my next piercing❤️
