Schweiger Dermatology & Allergy – Millburn

The “doctor” looked me in the eyes and straight up told me there is no correlation between diet and acne 😂 total BS as there is plenty of scientific evidence as well as my own personal experience to support this. When i told him that I’ve seen an immediate difference in my skin every time i change my diet for better or worse, he shrugged it off as if it were irrelevant. Any “medical doctor” who says diet and lifestyle do not factor into your health concerns is a quack. If you want drugs to mask your symptoms then you’ll probably get what you need here. If you want to actually fix your problems at the source, find a doctor who knows what they’re talking about. This is not it. Front desk staff were friendly and it was easy to get an appointment, but that was the only positive aspect of this experience.

This dermatology office has been my go-to for an annual appointment for the past 10-15 years, and it's always a seamless experience. (so much so that I've actually posted a 5-star review in the past when this office was under a different name). It seems the office recently changed to be under the Schweiger brand. I was recently billed for my annual appointment and the year over year increase was more than 100%. That seemed a bit much so I inquired via phone and via message, and each time they've either directed me to the other means of communication (you should send a message to billing or you should call us...) or they informed me that they would look into this and get back to me. I've followed up a few times on this via messaging to get an update, since I'd like to pay this bill, but have not received any further communication the last few weeks. Now, my latest bill is threatening collections. But I've been told you're looking into this for me? Either a billing error was made that I've tried to help with or Schweiger is employing predatory billing practices since adding on this new office. This seems pretty nuts to me. I love the doctors here, but with this new setup, you should go elsewhere for peace of mind.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Siegel. He was very friendly the first time I met him, but after three visits and no improvement, when I returned for more help, his tune changed drastically. He suddenly had a terrible bedside manner, disregarded my concerns, didn't listen to my symptoms or anything I had to say. On my final visit all he told me was there nothing he could do to help and waited silently until I walked out of his office (of course I still had to pay for this visit). After several visits and payments, I am still right where I started. I will not be returning to this office because of this terrible experience.

Doctor was great; all long 5 minutes it took him to treat me for my visit; however, they ruined the whole experience by not honoring appointment times and punctuality. Got there 20 minutes early, they had me waiting 45 minutes; everyone else got called before me. Even the ones that were late for their appointments due to them going by scheduled time or nurse forgetting to refresh her tablet.

Dr. Siegals an amazing doctor. First of all, my husband was a wrestling coach in New Providence. He would send his wrestlers to Doc when they had a skin disease. Their problem would heal fast! And back to wrestling they would go! And secondly, the the team of girls at the front desk are amazing. Thirdly, I have never had a bad experience. Dr. treats symptoms and cures them.
