During my consultation we discussed a skin graft vs just removing the roots of a mole and leaving the area disfigured. I did not make any decision either way at the time. On my the day of my surgery he was running very late, when they were prepping me I told him I had decided on the skin graft. He acted annoyed, even angry, I heard him telling the assistant ‘I was NOT expecting this.’ I felt extremely uncomfortable and almost changed my mind, but it’s my body and I didn’t want it disfigured because someone was having a bad day. He proceeded but I kept having to ask him for more anesthetic because I could feel him cutting. He didn’t say a word, just stabbed me with more anesthetic, he seemed very annoyed. By this time I was trembling so badly, I was just dying for it to be over so I could get out of there. I also had him remove a couple moles on my face as discussed, and I realized after everything was said and done he had removed a pimple instead of one of the moles. Never again.

Dr Pyo is a very talented surgeon. I had a chunk of the tip of my nose removed due to basal cell carcinoma and Dr Pyo sewed it back up after the surgery. I was very nervous about how it would look and thankfully it turned out beautifully! I am very pleased with Dr Pyo’s work, he gave me good advice and instructions for how to care for my healing process and now the scar can barely be seen. I have since been back to Dr Pyo several times for Botox because I trust his expertise.

It's taken awhile to write this review because my experience with Dr Pyo was unpleasant to say the least. He did my reconstruction after a double mastectomy. It was apparent there was something wrong in the days after surgery, but Dr. Pyo said it was superficial and just put me on more antibiotics and prescription creams. There were virtually no precautions taken after surgery to avoid infection (when he took my surgical drain tubes out he didn't even put a bandaid on the holes). All of my symptoms were ignored. I ended up with sepsis, emergency surgery and 3 additional surgeries. When I was in the hospital for 4 days with sepsis Dr. Pyo didn't even bother to call. I did not find him caring at all. I also had a hard time getting appointments after my initial surgery (most ended up being "double booked") and getting prescriptions refilled (had to call 3 times). It was a terrible experience.

I was a patient of Dr.Pyo about 10 years ago. I had a terrible go cart accident and was flown to Morristown Hospital and needed a skin graph and drain put into my arm. 3-4 surgeries later both at the hospital and in office, Dr.Pyo did a fantastic job. His staff were top of the line and my scar looks great and my arm is fully functioning. I recommend Dr.Pyo to anyone and am forever thankful for him!
