Dr. Bastidas is a rare gem. Back story: My TWO year old daughter cut her nose and we went to a St. Luke’s ER where they told me a plastic surgeon was unavailable, and then spent 30 minutes with my child wrapped in a papoose screaming her head off to put two stitches in, which did not even close the wound so it was going to leave a horrible scar, which of course was devastating since it’s my baby girls face… So I scrambled the next day trying to find a plastic surgeon to check out her stitches to see if I’m crazy or if the stitches were as bad as I thought. I called about 11 different doctors who told me “it’s too late since it’s stitched already,” or “once it’s a scar we can try and fix the scar so call back when it’s healed,” or “we can look at it in 2 weeks when we have an opening.” FINALLY I found Dr. Bastidas who was comforting and warm from the second he answered the phone, and reassured me that it was not too late to take a second look to prevent scarring. So Dr. Bastidas worked his magic and that same day perfectly restitched her nose back to perfection. What was also impressive was the relaxing atmosphere he created in the room to prevent the same type of trauma she had experienced the day prior at St. Luke’s. His work is impeccable and she is already healing beautifully. We are forever grateful to him for his genuine golden heart and his talent that he shares without hesitation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Dr. Bastidas.

After getting horrible five minute stitches at St. Luke’s ER went to Jamie o after being, recommended to him by a friend. He opened up his office at 8:45 at night and spent hours making sure the gash in my forehead was as perfect as humanly possible. I’ll be forever thankful to him. He’s a perfectionist

Dr. Bastidas is AMAZING!!! Took care of my 4year old and made her feel so comfortable while taking glass out. He is so kind, super gentle with children and just an all around great guy!! Highly recommend him! Thanks Dr. Bastidas!!!

Dr bastidas is professional and has an extremely friendly bedside manner. He reconstructed my pinky finger after it was crushed in a door and it looks and works perfectly. Recommend to everyone!
