I had taken my sister to Manhattan Beauty Supply on Main Street in Pleasantville to shop for wigs as she has stage 3 lung cancer and is receiving chemo and radiation therapies and has started rapidly loosing her hair. The store and selection are great, however neither of us had any idea how wigs get put on or what size etc. The employees were not accommodating at all, as a matter of fact they were cold hearted. Even the owner was not very pleasant to deal with. I guess I was upset because my sister started to cry because she didn’t know how to put the wig on and you cannot try them on it is store policy. They offered no advice. I do not recommend this beauty supply to anyone who is losing there hair to cancer it is a cold and unwelcoming establishment.

I recently visited this salon in Pleasantville, New Jersey. their wig inventory is amazing. I have absolutely no experience and wearing wigs as I am a recent cancer patient I asked can I try them on? I was told no. I was told no wig salons allow that. It was explained to me that no matter where I go I would not be allowed to try the wigs on. I was also told that if I choose a wig, make sure I like it because I cannot return it. so I asked the owner how am I supposed to buy a wig when I don't even know how to put them on. And if I can't try them on, how will I know what I look like. I could've been speaking to a blank wall and got the same reaction that I got from the owner, I left that shop and found a different place where I was given a cap to wear I was told choose a wig that I really liked so that they could judge my idea of the style. They then chose 10 different wigs. hello The two employees that helped me treated me as though I was the only person that mattered in their day. They were kind they were understanding, extremely knowledgeable and totally accommodating.Manhattan wig salon, Pleasantville, New Jersey. I will make certain that I let my doctor know. Perhaps the cancer institute needs to understand the mindset of this salon.I wouldn't go back to that establishment if they were giving the wigs away.

Came here 2/12 and the automated system said they was gonna be open at 9 and these mfs closed 😤would’ve never drove 25 mins over here waste of time won’t be shopping with them anymore ✌🏽
