Kenya is incredible! She really knows her stuff and I trust her implicitly. She knows what I want better than I do. She knows hair inside and out and always steers me in the right direction. I know that she'll cut my hair in a way that will flatter my face and in a way that I can easily style myself (or not style it and it'll still look good!). I feel so lucky that I found her at Lumie!

The stylists know curly hair inside and out, offering advice and personalized care that has made a noticeable difference for all of us. They also handle other hair types just as well—I’ve seen them work with a wide range of textures, and they always deliver. I visited Lumie Salon to get a curly cut and a balayage. Kenya did an amazing job cutting my hair! My curls look wonderful and alive! Ana did a great job with the balayage. She kept me informed during the appointment of every step she was taking. She also asked me whether I liked the color before drying my hair to make sure she did what I was looking for. Overall, this is a great salon! Some of the ladies speak Spanish, which was good for me since I was able to explain better what I needed. 10/10 experience.

This salon is the nicest I’ve ever used. Every stylist is kind, professional, and most importantly, highly skilled. Kosia, the owner, has created a feeling of calm and relaxation in both the design of the studio as well as the music played and plants placed all throughout. Yesterday we visited so my hard-to-please teen daughter could have a curly cut with Laura (who also happens to be my colorist). She worked magic on her hair, literally reviving it and in the process, making one very happy customer (and mom)! Supporting a small business that is owned by a woman has never been easier! Can’t recommend this studio enough for all of your hair needs.

I love the Lumie Salon. I feel relaxed every time I get any service done. It feels like walking into a good friend’s house. I never get nervous or intimidated. I get Keritan there, blow outs, haircuts and color with Kosiah. She’s amazing at color, cuts and I love her knowledge and experience. She’s worked at places like Vogue in Manhattan. I trust her to do everything perfectly. She makes it all seem easy. But she’s very humble and unassuming with a great sense of humor. I recently got extensions and Kosiah matched the color perfectly and these extensions have changed my life!!! I also love the hair products that Kosiah sells. She makes her own products! Everyone at Lumie, from the women who are at the front desk, to the women who wash my hair, are so lovely. AND it’s easy to park! No worrying about getting a ticket. I can’t recommend enough!
