Dr. John-Paul Palu-Regan

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Palu Regan and his staff. I went in for a breast reduction and I am now 3 weeks post op. I was walked through the process from the initial consultation through the surgery day and post op follow up appointments. I am already experiencing so much relief from the chronic pain I experienced from my large breast. His office staff have been very helpful and handled all of my paper work to ensure my short term disability for work was approved and they were always available whenever I called with any questions. Overall I am healing very nicely and highly recommend Dr. Palu-Regan !!!

I am two years post gastric sleeve and had a lot of extra skin from my weight loss journey. Doctor Paul-Regan was so understanding with all of my questions from the initial consult through the post op appointments. He delivered results that far exceeded my expectations. The office worked easily with my insurance and disability paperwork.

Where are all of these positive reviews coming from??? I'd like to share my feedback of interacting with the doctor's staff and by proxy the doctor (please read fully to understand). Due to an urgent issue with my insurance a restriction was placed on my surgery with another doctor, I was told I must consult with Dr. Palu-Regan. I was not given another option. I called Dr. Palu-Regan's office and spoke with his medical assistant regarding what my insurance was doing and asked to speak with him at his convenience for 5 minutes, just to explain the situation and get his direct response so that I could hopefully get this sorted out and proceed with surgery. I want to add Dr. Palu-Regan is in Wayne, New Jersey, which is approximately 3-4 hours of travel time ONE WAY. I asked for a 5 minute telephone call, I asked for a Zoom consult. I was told the following: 1. Dr. Palu-Regan does not do Zoom consults. 2. I was told that if the medical assistant does what I have asked her to do to get a phone call with the doctor, Dr. Palu-Regan will brush off the request and reject it because "he doesn't talk on the phone." 3. I was told the next available in person visit is in March or April and again, no Zoom calls or telephone calls. Neither the doctor nor the staff give a hoot about the patient. I recommend you do what you want with this information. If the doctor's staff had any sense at all they'd understand I had no control over my insurance's actions and desperately need help to sort this out, but that's not their priority.

First, the building is immaculate and the office has a quiet and soothing ambiance. The staff was welcoming and friendly...everyone had a smile and greeted me with a friendly attitude.. which sadly, you don't see much anymore. I felt comfortable immediately. Most importantly, Dr Palu-Regan was very attentive to my concerns. He was so understanding, patient and kind...a truly caring soul. My procedure was a wonderful experience and I felt totally at ease. He's a talented plastic surgeon and I'm thrilled with my results. P.S... pricing was fair and transparent. Dr Palu-Regan is the full package! Highly recommend!
