Albany Med Plastic Surgery

Dr.Bialowas did my top surgery and I can’t recommend her enough! She made me so comfortable throughout the whole thing and has a lovely personality. I thank her so much for doing these surgeries and for giving me the chance to live my life authentically. Still healing but my results are looking great so far!

The office wouldn't book an appt. With a Dr. Unless I saw a Nurse first. I came in thinking it would routine triage with nurse for my HS condition. Instead they try to block patients getting services and Teresa was so dismissive and unprofessional. I ended up seeing two dermatologists who highly recommend I get surgery. I do not recommend this facility and don't see nurse Teresa.

The staff at this practice is very mixed. One staff member was very rude to my wife, also there was some very lazy front desk staff. The problem is the facility handles orthopedic patients who have undergone surgery, yet there are no wheelchairs available but the staff can get you one if I was the right color skin. A nice nurse grabbed one for me while the heavy set front desk staff sat there on their cell phones. It's hard to get to the office because you have to navigate the Albany Medical Center parking garage, go through several hall ways, elevators, it's very confusing for most people. The care is okay from the actual providers.

By far one of the worst surgeons offices, I've ever delt with. Sitting over an hour waiting almost every appointment I've ever had there. The personalities are terrible of all staff from the front desk people who were taking copays that they were not supposed to be taking and their rude comments about their patients. I have never been treated so poorly in a place that was supposed to be there to help people. They care about a paycheck and that's it.

I was a victim of a car pedestrian accident on February 14th. If it weren't for Dr. Schalet and his team determined to save my leg and foot I wouldn't be walking today . Dr Schalet is amazing and I am truly grateful to him for everything he has done to improve my quality of life after my accident. I have had 8 surgeries and he has been absolutely the most amazing doctor. Dr. Schalet I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you continue to do to help me. We are truly blessed to have you in the Albany area.
