Breezy Point Dermatology

My 7-year-old son had surgery in the Breezy Point office to remove something from his back. Surgery went fine but less than 12 hours after all five of his stitches popped. I'm not giving this review because of the popped stitches. What happened next is why I am giving them a poor review. I called the emergency care number on Sunday that was provided on the post-surgery instructions to ask what we should do about the popped stitches. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. I called this so-called emergency number 4 times over the course of 2 hours. Monday morning comes and I call the office and explain the situation that my son has a gaping hole in his back. They offer a 3p appointment. I told them I am coming at 9a. To make a long story short, they couldn't do anything for him and sent me to a different plastic surgeon in Queens to re-stitch him. Then, Dr. Vine calls to apologize and clearly knew nothing about the incident because she first thought the surgery was on my son's stomach and then his chest. Open his damn file before you call to apologize. Never again!

From out of town, had an eczema attack. Was seen day after calling by knowledgeable and sympathetic staff - on a holiday to boot. Took my insurance and didn’t waste any time helping me with prescriptions. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love Dr. Vine. Not only is she an excellent physician, but she is kind, patient, and caring. Her entire staff is always helpful as well.

The doctor is attentive and knowledgeable. also have a great staff helpful and patient.

Just called the office for a new patient consult. The receptionist who answered the phone was so rude and unhelpful. When asked, I provided my Insurance Plan and the Union it’s through, her response was, well we take different kinds of Union and PPO insurance. Running my insurance would have answered the question, but her failure to provide adequate service, I’ll be calling somewhere else.
