Excellent practice. I was referred yesterday for a procedure and was given an appointment today. Upon entering the office, i was greeted by a very pleasant and professional office assistant, the office was immaculate (as a nurse, i notice that) The medical assistant was very thorough. My appointment was with P.A..Monika Mannan. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional and pleasant as well, and explained thoroughly her plan. So glad I was able to get in today. I highly recommend this office. ~V
Dr. Sanjosh Singh is clearly burnt out with terrible bedside manner. She said to me, “you booked the last appointment of the day” when I wanted to discuss different topics. When I left declined a follow up appointment because I won’t be back. I think Dr. Singh is the only practitioner that accepts United Healthcare Oxford in this group. It’s really too bad because the office is cute & the support staff are all wonderful! Just avoid this Dr. on Tuesdays. To one professional to the next , stop accepting new patients and working hours that don’t suit you. Whatever my insurance paid was much too much for a 10 minute exam.
I loved my visit at Williamsburg Dermatology . The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The assistant that took my history was super nice and very welconing also. The office was very clean, organized and i loved the retro aesthetics. The doctor examined me and was very professional and reassuring. She explained everything to me in detail. She gave me options for my situation. I was very pleased with my visit. I highly recommend Williamsburg dermatology. I am a very happy patient. Thank you Sally Chen.
I don't usually write reviews, but here we go. I have been a patient at this office, along with my mother, for over 8 years. Over time, I have witnessed a noticeable decline in the quality of care and professionalism. Today, I accompanied my mother for a consultation, acting as her translator, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite scheduling an early appointment to accommodate my work schedule, my mother was the last patient seen, with the delay attributed to paperwork, even though her information has been in the system for years. In comparison, I went a few weeks before, and they had not even asked for my insurance despite not having been at their office for over a year. As someone with experience in client-facing services, I understand that things can sometimes get behind, but it was disheartening to see the staff's lack of empathy. After my mother expressed frustration and even mentioned leaving and going to another clinic, we were promptly seated. Yet, Dr. Sanjosh Singh's behavior suggested she was eager to end the consultation quickly. It was apparent and uncomfortable, and while I understand that impatience can be a challenge, it’s important to address it with professionalism and care. Whenever I asked for clarification on any matter, the responses I received were dismissive and unhelpful. Comments like "just go to another clinic" or "use what you used last time, what’s the point of coming here?" left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I had questions I wanted to ask especially after spending time researching on chemical peels. After the appointment, my mother was visibly upset and teary eyed, which was heartbreaking to witness, especially since she has limited English proficiency and clearly made to felt insignificant, with no ability to properly communicate it. I deeply regret that we experienced this decline in service and compassion. There seems to be a disconnect between the quality of the services offered and the manner in which patients are treated. I had originally planned to proceed with a botox treatment here, but after today's experience, I will be seeking care from a different dermatologist. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both the quality of service and the patient experience.
I went for my annual skin cancer screening and was truly impressed with how thorough Aiden Russo was. While performing the exam, he explained the different types of spots to look for, and made sure he eased my mind about freckles or moles that he needed to mark and measure in order to monitor. Hopefully my biopsy report comes back clear, but if it doesn’t, at least I’ll know I’m in good hands.
